Nikon Coolpix L810 review

Ilse Jurriën : 2012-06-05 16:20:00
Nikon Coolpix L810 review : When you think of a budget camera, you often think of a cheap camera with basic functionality. The Nikon Coolpix L810, however, is quite different, as this 16 megapixel camera is at the top of Nikon’s L-series, with a Nikkor lens and 26x optical zoom. Additionally, the Nikon Coolpix L810 is equipped with VR-vibration reduction with lens-shift to counteract the effects of camera shake. Despite these advanced camera functions, it is still a budget camera, mostly due to its extremely user-friendly character. In the automatic setting, all camera settings are regulated automatically. We tested the Nikon Coolpix L810 for some time in practice.

The Nikon Coolpix L810 has two zoom buttons, the regulator on the top of the camera is also available on the left side, which gives you more grip on the camera. Additionally, the vibration reduction helps prevent camera shake. The Nikon Coolpix L810 has a mere four automatic camera functions against blur, so that sharp photos can even be taken at maximum zoom range. The Nikon Coolpix L810 is a Megazoom camera with a shiny body and a user-friendly operation.

Nikon Coolpix S9200 review

Ilse Jurriën : 2012-05-28 11:15:00
Nikon Coolpix S9200 review : Last quarter, Nikon announced a new Superzoom camera. The Nikon Coolpix S9200 is a 16 megapixel digital camera with a very sensitive, backlit CMOS sensor. Thanks to this sensor, the camera receives more light, resulting in improved image quality. Furthermore, the Nikon Coolpix S9200 is equipped with a Nikkor lens with a powerful 18x optical zoom (25-450mm). Such a zoom range without effective vibration reduction is undesirable, and that is why Nikon has equipped the Coolpix S9200 with VR-vibration reduction with lens-shift, which ensures steady shots. We gave the Nikon Coolpix S9200 a test run for quite a while. Our findings can be read in the following Nikon Coolpix S9200 review.
