New Canon EF lenses

Two new Canon EF professional lenses : Canon has introduced two new additions to the EF lens line-up, the Canon EF 24-70mm f/4L IS USM lens and Canon EF 35mm f/2 IS USM lens. Each of these two new Canon lenses feature unique optical attributes for a variety of situations. The new Canon EF 24-70mm f/4L IS USM lens has macro shooting capabilities at the telephoto end and the Canon EF 35mm f/2 IS USM lens adds Canon’s proprietary image stabilization to this popular prime lens focal length. The Canon 24-70mm lens carries a suggested retail price of $1,499,- and the Canon 35mm lens carries an approximate retail price of $850,- USD. Both new Canon lenses will be available for retail in December 2012.


Samsung NX Lenses

Two new Samsung NX camera lenses announced : Samsung Electronics introduces two new lenses that join Samsung’s NX camera system. The new Samsung NX lenses offer the perfect balance of portability and smooth ease-of use, giving digital photographers an easy way to explore their photographic creativity, while keeping their equipment light. Both NX lenses include Samsung’s i-Function, an intuitive control system which allows photographers to easily adjust shutter speed, aperture and ISO settings. Nikon AF-S 70–200mm lens

Canon Cinema prime lenses

Canon EF cinema prime lenses : Canon USA announced the development of two new cinema prime lenses, the 14mm T3.1 cinema prime lens and 135mm T2.2 cinema prime lens, adding to the Cinema EOS lineup consisted of 11 EF Cinema prime lenses. Both the 14mm T3.1 and 135mm T2.2 Canon cinema prime lenses will be engineered for exceptional optical performance for Canon's latest large-format single-sensor 4K and 2K digital cinematography cameras. As part of the Cinema EOS System, the Canon prime lenses will be compatible with standard sensor sizes including Super 35mm, the standard format in the motion picture industry, as well as HD-compatible EOS Digital SLR cameras using 35mm full frame, APS-H and APS-C image sensors.
