Samsung Galaxy S 3 audio feature : Immersion Corporation, a leading developer and licensor of touch feedback technology, announced that Samsung has introduced a new feature in their recently announced Samsung Galaxy S 3 handset which uses specially designed algorithms to automatically translate audio from an application into haptic effects, creating a more engaging consumer experience. Based on Immersion’s Reverb technology, the Auto-Haptic feature is designed to enrich entertainment content, while providing consumers with the power to customize their haptic experience at the application level. Users access the Auto-Haptic feature via the Galaxy S 3 Sound settings, and select which apps should have added haptics.
