Sharp XG-PH80 3D projector series Sharp introduces the new XG-PH80 Series systems integration projectors which offer high brightness and image quality in addition to DLP Link 3D-compatibility. This provides superior performance for large venue applications in corporate, university, government, house of worship and rental/staging settings. The Sharp 3D projector includes the XG-PH80WN (5600 lumens, HD compatible WXGA native resolution) and XG-PH80XN (6300 lumens, XGA native resolution) projector models which are among the first in this systems integration / large venue class to incorporate DLP Link technology for high quality 3D output from a single projector. When used with compatible 3D field sequential content, PC, and optional 3D active shutter glasses that support DLP Link, the Sharp 3D projectors captivate audiences with magnificent 3D imagery.

Sharp Android Smartphone with 3D display : Sharp Electronics has introduced world’s first Android Smartphone (Froyo version 2.2) with a crisp and clear 3.8 inch LCD display that supports 3D graphics. Sharp enters the Android market with the Sharp Galapagos Smartphone that retails under the name Softbank 003SH. The new Sharp 3D Smartphone is equipped with a 3.8-inch (480x800 pixel) widescreen touchscreen and supports Multi-touch technology, which allows you to view 3D pictures without special glasses. The Sharp 3D Smartphone will be available in the colours red, black and white.

Sharp Galapagos Tablet : Sharp has been showcasing its new Galapagos tablet and cloud-based bookstore service at CES 2011 Show in Las Vegas. Utilizing its proprietary XMDF (ever-eXtending Mobile Document Format), Galapagos will present an enhanced e-reading experience to consumers by providing rich content, an intuitive user interface and periodic software updates. The Sharp Galapagos tablet and e-bookstore service will offer consumers wide access to e-books, movies, games, and music. An optional Automated Scheduled Delivery Service will deliver the most updated newspapers and magazines to the user’s wherever a wireless connection is available.
