Nikon D800 digital SLR camera : We have to wait just one more month for the annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2012) in the United States to begin. Like last year, this event will be used by electronics companies to introduce their new products. Slowly but surely more and more information comes available on possible new digital cameras. Nikon is expected to introduce the successor to the Nikon D700 digital SLR camera. The 12 megapixel Nikon D700 is already available since mid-2008, time to melt all collected user experiences into a new SLR camera. Its successor, the Nikon D800 is expected to become Nikon's highest resolution SLR camera, with 36 megapixels.


Nokia N5 Smartphone

New Nokia N5 smartphone : After the rumors of an upcoming Nokia Android phone we hear a lot of speculations about the Nokia N5, N6 and N7 smartphones. Various pictures appeared on the internet. The new Nokia N5 smartphone would run on the new Symbian Belle OS, which has not previously been applied on a smartphone. Symbian Belle has an improved user interface, an upgraded browser and the start screen features new widgets. The Nokia N5 smartphone will most likely be equipped with a 3.2" touch screen display and a 5 megapixel digital camera with LED flash. Moreover, the Nokia N5 offers a second front-facing camera for video-calling and a large speaker below the camera.


Sony A77

Sony Alpha 77 camera : At the upcoming IFA Show in Berlin in September, two new Sony Alpha cameras are expected. According to the editorial staff of Sony Alpha Rumours the Sony A77 and Sony A65 were intended to be announced in July, however, due to the disaster in Japan this has to be postponed until late August. The Sony A77 will replace the four year old Sony A700. It is to be expected that the Sony A77 camera will be equipped with a double Bionz image processor and a 24 Megapixel sensor that can deliver huge ISO performance. In addition, the Sony Alpha 77 will be equipped with a 3 million dot OLED electronic view finder. To accurately and quickly focus, the Sony A77 will offer an auto focus system with 11 cross AF points.


Nokia Android phone

Nokia Android phone coming? : For some time we hear rumors about a possible Nokia Android phone. Up till now Nokia has equipped their mobile phones with Symbian or Windows Mobile. In the beginning of this year Nokia negotiated with both Windows and Google, after which Nokia announced to further strengthen its collaboration with Microsoft. However, rumors about a new Nokia Android phone keep emerge. The Android operating system has become wildly popular very rapidly, in the first quarter of 2011 Android was world's best selling operating system.


Samsung NX20 and Samsung NX200 mirrorless cameras

Samsung NX200 and Samsung NX20 mirrorless cameras : Last year there were already rumours circulating from Korea; Samsung would work on the new Samsung NX20 and NX200 mirrorless camera systems. Two months ago, a representative of Samsung Russia confirmed this message in an interview. No time-line was mentioned though. But now that the Samsung NX200 and Samsung NX20 model names have also appeared in the Global Download Center of Samsung we will properly hear more about these new mirrorless cameras in the near future. Both the Samsung NX200 and NX20 cameras will boost a new image sensor, with higher resolutions than it's predecessors, the Samsung NX100 and NX10.

Sony Cybershot DSC-HX100V digital camera : As the following information leaked from Sony’s website, and it became within minutes talk of the town, we decided to share this early pre-announcement news with you. Soon, we may expect the launch of the new Sony Cybershot HX100V. This new Sony camera incorporates a mixture of technologies, not only from a regular Cybershot but also from Handycam and Alpha DSLR series. Like some of the Cybershots introduced at CES 2011, the Sony HX100V features a 16.2-megapixel back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor and a powerful BIONZ imaging processor for high-speed signal processing. Furthermore the Sony Cybershot HX100V features a 30x optical zoom (27-810mm: 35mm equiv.) with Hi-speed AF-technology.

Sony Cybershot DSC-HX9V digital camera : Camera rumors floating around, some of them pure gossip, others right from the manufacturer’s website, like the following soon to be introduced Sony Cybershot camera. The Sony Cybershot HX9V is a compact high resolution camera with 16x optical zoom G Lens and Exmor R CMOS sensor with 16 Megapixels resolution. We assume this Sony HX9V will have somewhat higher specs than the HX7V, so you may expect 3D Still Image mode for taking 3D images, Dual Rec (record) technology for taking still photos during video capture, Intelligent Sweep Panorama, 10fps, and more. The Sony DSC-HX9V features a dedicated still image button and a dedicated movie capture button to make it easy to use for consumers.
