PMA 2012 at CES Show in Las Vegas : The Photo Marketing Association International (PMA) announced a partnership agreement with the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), owner and producer of the International CES, to move the September 2011 PMA International Convention and Trade Show (aka CliQ 2011) to colocate at the 2012 International CES, scheduled for January 10-13 in Las Vegas. PMA at CES 2012 will offer industry-specific content and display products representing all aspects of digital imaging. PMA 2012 will also offer its well-known educational seminars, complementing and enhancing CES 2012 programming.


Olympic Games 2012 use Panasonic HD Camcorder

Olympic Games use Panasonic DVCPRO HD Camcorder : Panasonic Corporation, the Official Worldwide Olympic Partner in the Audio and Visual Equipment category for the London 2012 Olympic Games, announces that Panasonic's DVCPRO HD will be the official recording format for capturing the London 2012 Olympic Games. Olympic Broadcasting Services London (OBSL), the Host Broadcaster, will also use the P2 HD series with solid-state memory cards for video recording equipment including P2 HD Camcorder AJ-HPX3100 and P2 Portable Recorder AG-HPD24 to support the broadcast of the London 2012 Olympic Games.

The CES 2011 report will showcase numerous new products and services from manufacturers all over the World. Without doubt 2011 will be the year of the tablet. Apple’s launch of the iPad has left an undeniable print on the mobile computing space. After a decade with minimal success, a tablet computing device is (finally) garnering mass market appeal. There are many factors driving this trend - not least of which is timing. The global appeal of Apple’s iPad is simultaneously brazening others to enter the fold and compete for this quickly growing market.
