Dennis Hissink : 2010-04-16 15:45:15
640GB 7200rpm Samsung MP4 mobile drive : Samsung announced that its new Spinpoint MP4 2.5” internal hard drive offers the highest capacity, 640GB in 7200rpm premium mobile drives. Operating at a 7200rpm and double cache size, the Samsung MP4 is ideal for high-performance mobile computing. “Demonstrating Samsung’s industry leadership in delivering advanced and high performing storage solutions, the Samsung Spinpoint MP4 offers the biggest capacity in what has previously been offered as an option for advanced data storage,” said H.S. Lee, vice president, storage marketing, Samsung Electronics. “The large capacity and productivity improvements in the MP4 drive make it an optimal solution for our notebook PC and slim-desktop customers.”

Mark Peters : 2010-02-21 10:40:00
Samsung N150 netbook : Samsung was demonstrating the world’s first Long Term Evolution (LTE) netbook PC at Mobile World Congress 2010. Samsung’s own in-house designed LTE modem chipset, Kalmia, enabled the development of a small form factor netbook with LTE capability. Following the company’s latest deployment of a commercial LTE dongle, Samsung reasserts its industry-leading position in next generation mobile technology with the largest line-up of devices. Alongside the world’s first demonstration of the LTE netbook N150, Samsung also showcased an extensive line-up of Samsung netbooks and note PCs at the show including the Samsung N210, N220 and NB30.

Samsung eBook

Ilse Jurriën : 2010-01-08 19:55:40
Samsung E6 and E1010 e-Book : Samsung unveils its first e-book devices, with 6" and 10" screen size offerings, at the 2010 CES in Las Vegas. The Samsung E6 and E101 further solidify Samsung’s position in display technology by raising the bar on the quality of writing capabilities for e-books. Unlike other eBook devices, the Samsung E6 and E101 enable handwriting directly onto the display, allowing users to annotate their reading selections, calendars and to-do lists with a built-in electromagnetic resonance stylus pen. This dedicated pen prevents mistypes caused by hands and other objects that may graze the screen’s surface. A variety of pen and eraser thicknesses makes the Samsung e-books perfect for drawing and writing.
