Panasonic Lumix FX66

Ilse Jurriën : 2010-01-27 01:44:00
Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX66 digital camera : Panasonic introduces the new 14.1-megapixel Lumix DMC-FX66 to the slim and stylish FX series. The new image processing technology “Intelligent Resolution” is incorporated in the Venus Engine VI for FX66. By detecting the signals whether they are at edges of the subjects, they compose detailed texture or just a soft gradation first and give appropriate enhancement to the edges and textured areas respectively. Unlike the uniform enhancement of sharpness, it is possible to perform the optimum signal processing to give a whole image outstandingly natural clearness with fine details. This technology is integrated in iA mode making it possible to offer best automatic setting according to the scene.

SDXC memory cards

Ilse Jurriën : 2010-01-20 03:55:00
SDXC memory cards : Last year, the specifications of a new generation of Secure Digital flash (SD) memory cards were made public. And these were, to put it lightly, impressive. With SD as base and SDHC (SD High Capacity) for higher storage capacities of a maximum of 32GB, a heavy specification requirement was set for every new type of card that would take over after SDHC. However, anyone taking a look at the SDXH (Secure Digital eXtended Capacity) roadmap, and sees a storage capacity of 2TB and a bus interface speed of 104MB/sec to 300MB/sec in a later phase, will soon be convinced. Panasonic starts off this year with the introduction of the first 48GB and 64GB SDXC memory cards.

Ilse Jurriën : 2010-01-20 03:53:00

LG Electronics, Intel, Sony, Samsung and other big company names are part of this WirelessHD consortium. We can thus expect much more Wireless High Definition, and even in the case of Panasonic, Wireless Full HD 3D. In the coming period, Panasonic will add to the development of wireless solutions for the consumer. The setup of the Panasonic Wireless 3D Full HD prototype is to make it possible to transmit non-compressed Full HD 3D audio/video.

Skype on your TV

Ilse Jurriën : 2010-01-20 02:29:00
LG and Panasonic TVs with Skype : The television as we have known it for years has actually not changed that much. All right, the quality has of course improved and it has become bigger and flatter, but that about covers it. With the arrival of 3D content, the experience will become more impressive and more applications will become possible. LG and Panasonic actually extend the television even further. Together with their partner Skype, ‘skyping’ via the television is possible, which is an important step for Skype and its partners. Skype is a hit, and when Skype invested in video a few years ago, they took a risk, a calculated one at that. Will this investment now see its returns?

Ilse Jurriën : 2010-01-10 18:15:00
