Panasonic Lumix G2 review

Dennis Hissink : 2010-09-04 12:55:00
Panasonic Lumix DMC-G2 system camera review : When the Panasonic G1 made its entrance at the Photokina 2008 in Cologne, the competitors were standing around the camera in no time. The world’s first system camera based on the Micro Four Thirds System was introduced by Panasonic. When we look back at that period, we can only conclude that the Panasonic G1 was the beginning of the end of the domination of the traditional DSLR cameras. Now it's time for it's successor, the Lumix G2.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5 review

Dennis Hissink : 2010-07-25 17:30:00
Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5 photo gallery : Shortly after attending the Panasonic press event in Stockholm, Sweden, I had the opportunity to shoot with a pre-production model of the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5 is quite similar to its predecessor, the Panasonic LX3. The most important differences are the fully redesigned lens, the CCD and the image processing engine. The lens is a newly developed f/2.0 wide angle 24mm Leica DC Vario Summicron lens and its optical zoom range is extended to 3.8x (90mm in 35mm format). For the movie recording, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5 is newly compatible with long time high quality HD movie recording in AVCHD Lite in addition to the conventional motion JPEG format.
