Ilse Jurriën : 2010-09-08 06:00:01
Nikon Coolpix P7000 digital camera : Nikon Europe announces the launch of a high performance Coolpix model, the P7000, that sets a new benchmark for quality photography in a discrete and stylish package. The result of extensive research amongst professional photographers, the Nikon Coolpix P7000 delivers outstanding images in a less intimidating form factor than a SLR. The Nikon Coolpix P7000’s superb image quality is guaranteed by a wide-angle 7.1x zoom Nikkor lens giving a 28mm to 200mm range (35mm format equivalent), with optical Vibration Reduction (VR), two ED glass elements and Nikon’s brand new Expeed C2 image processing system.

Fast, responsive and versatile, the Nikon Coolpix S8100 with an incredible 10x zoom will capture fast-moving subjects in still images and HD (1080p) movies. To help capture moments that are gone in an instant, the Nikon Coolpix S8100 digital camera not only features high-speed shooting at five full resolution frames at up to 10 frames-per-second (fps), but a pre-shooting cache that records up to two shots before the shutter-release is fully pressed.

Nikon D3100 review

Dennis Hissink : 2010-08-20 11:30:02
Nikon D3100 Quick review : About a year ago Nikon presented the D3000, a 10.2 Megapixel DSLR camera with several features that we also saw in the Nikon D90 and the D5000. With the introduction of the Nikon D3100, the successor to the Nikon D3000, Nikon again has an amateur DSLR camera in its assortment with specifications and functions that are all up-to-date again. The resolution has increased quite a bit, from 10.2 to 14.2 Megapixels and the Nikon D3100 SLR camera now also offers Full HD video. Of course the Nikon D3100 camera offers Live View, and there are also new AF settings included. The Nikon D3100 is a digital SLR camera aimed at the amateur photographer. A DSLR camera that has user friendliness as a bonus.

Nikon Coolpix S1100PJ review

Dennis Hissink : 2010-08-20 11:30:01
Nikon Coolpix S1100PJ review : Although a digital camera with built-in projector is still pretty gadgety, Nikon’s newest projector camera, the Nikon S1100pj, has something extra to offer. The Nikon Coolpix S1100pj is the successor to the S1000pj. This model was the first digital compact camera with a built-in projector with which it is possible to project photos and videos onto a flat surface. In itself this is a very clever achievement, but for the wider public the phenomenon remained unknown, or it was just too much of a gadget for the average user. Of course it also comes with a price, which will undoubtedly play a role in the acquisition of such a camera with gadget function.

Nikon Coolpix S5100 review

Dennis Hissink : 2010-08-20 11:30:00
Nikon Coolpix S5100 review : The new Nikon Coolpix S5100 lies in between the Coolpix S4000 and the S6000, in terms of numbering. This also seems to be the case in terms of camera specifications. With 5x optical zoom and a range of 28-140 mm (35mm equivalent), connected to a CCD image sensor with an effective resolution of 12.2 Megapixels, the Nikon S5100 fits nicely in between them. It is Nikon’s answer to the storm of relatively cheap entry-level cameras that are being offered by virtually every manufacturer on every street corner. It is difficult for a manufacturer to distinguish itself in this price segment. Nikon does this by equipping the camera with a new image processor.

Nikon 85mm lens review

Dennis Hissink : 2010-08-19 06:00:08
Nikon AF-S 85mm f/1.4G lens review : With the introduction of the Nikon AF-S Nikkor 85mm f/1.4G, Nikon fulfills an old promise. Nikon already had the beautiful Nikon 85mm f/1.4 in its assortment, but it was missing a number of specifications that we recently found in the new series of professional Nikon lenses. The new Nikon AF-S Nikkor 85mm now has a Silent Wave Motor, AF-S, and the highly praised Nano Crystal coating. It was a difficult task for the optical designers to improve the already highly valued lens. But this Nikon 85mm lens means that there is a new lens available for the portrait and fashion photographer in order to get the most out of the Nikon FX DSLR camera.

Nikon 28-300mm lens review

Dennis Hissink : 2010-08-19 06:00:07
Nikon AF-S 28-300mm lens review : The introduction of the new Nikon AF-S Nikkor 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR zoom lens is surprising. There were rumors previously that such a Nikon lens was tested by a professional photographer in the US, but the first reports were still pretty vague. When I first held the Nikon 28-300mm in my hands, I immediately compared it to a Canon lens with a similar focal range. The big difference is actually the weight of the lens. The Canon megazoom lens weighs at least 1600 grams, the Nikon AF-S 28-300mm weighs half that amount, making it easier to carry around. The Nikon AF-S Nikkor 28-300mm lens weighs about 800 grams.
