Availability Samsung Full HD 3D LED TV : Samsung Electronics celebrated the worldwide availability of the first-ever Full HD 3D LED TVs with a special performance by The Black Eyed Peas in Times Square. Avatar director James Cameron, who has been a crucial driver in furthering the development of 3D content, also joined the celebration. Samsung also announced footage from The Black Eyed Peas popular The E.N.D. World Tour will be exclusively available in 3D for Samsung customers. All right, the quality has of course improved and it has become bigger and flatter, but that about covers it. With the arrival of 3D content, the experience will become more impressive and more applications will become possible. LG and Panasonic actually extend the television even further. This allows you to use your iPhone 3G as an alarm clock accessory.

Select models in Samsung's HDTV line-up will be powered by the Yahoo! Widget Engine, a fifth-generation applications platform that enables HDTV watchers to interact with and enjoy a rich set of "TV Widgets." TV Widgets make it easy to interact with Internet content and services to complement and enhance the traditional TV viewing experience. The lightweight Javascript and XML applications bring content, information and community features available on the Internet within easy reach of the remote control.

Mitsubishi 3D TV Experience : Mitsubishi will showcase the flexibility and versatility of its 3D TV products by displaying 3D content delivered by various video sources, including Blu-Ray players at CES 2010 in the “Experience 3D Tech Zone”. Mitsubishi has also announced a new 3D adapter which will provide Mitsubishi 3D-ready Home Theater TV owners with an easy and affordable solution to display 3D from a 3D Blu-Ray player. The Mitsubishi 3DC-1000 3D adapter will be available in late spring of 2010. “As a pioneer in the 3D television market, Mitsubishi is bridging the gap for consumers to experience this break-through technology,” said Frank DeMartin, vice president of marketing, Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America.
