Sony-Ericsson Vivaz Pro

Mark Peters : 2010-03-09 23:10:00
Sony-Ericsson Vivaz Pro business smartphone : The Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, is the moment for cell phone manufacturers to present themselves to the world press. And next to the marketing talk, which sounds nice, we of course go mostly for the products, as those are pumped up and form an important part of the manufacturer’s image. Although Sony-Ericsson seems to be focusing less on hardware, and instead teaching the consumer more to experience the different services that Sony-Ericsson has to offer, but we still need a Sony-Ericsson smartphone. The Sony-Ericsson Vivaz Pro Smartphone received an official status during the MWC 2010. It is a business version of the Sony-Ericsson Vivaz handset.

Acer Liquid review

Mark Peters : 2010-03-09 15:15:15
Acer Liquid E quick review : Acer brought some new exciting smartphones to the Mobile World Congress 2010 in Barcelona, including the “new” Acer Liquid E. “New” because it is actually a further developed version of a smartphone that was introduced last year: the Acer Liquid cell phone. It is interesting for the owners of an Acer Liquid handset to see the possibilities that the Acer Liquid e mobile phone has due to the software applications of Android 2.1. But if Acer Liquid smartphone owners still have a bit of patience, their OS can be updated to version 2.1 in the summer of 2010, at least that is the expectation that was created during our visit to the Acer booth during the MWC 2010 in Spain.

HTC HD mini review

Mark Peters : 2010-03-09 14:00:00
HTC HD mini review : A remarkable development in Smartphones is the running trend to go smaller. Smaller smartphones, with smaller displays. Although that is a broad concept, because a 3.2-inch format display is still not less than average for a modern smartphone. In any case, there was reason enough for HTC to come up with the HTC HD mini smartphone. It is a new Windows Mobile smartphone with a more compact design and with a more modest format display of 3.2 inches. In comparison with the high-end smartphones with a 4.3-inch format, it makes quite a difference. During the Mobile World Congress in Spain we took a moment to have a closer look at the new HTC HD mini Smartphone.

Motorola Backflip

Mark Peters : 2010-03-09 07:50:00
Motorola Backflip Android Smartphone : We first ran into the new Motorola Backflip Smartphone during the Sneak Preview, an event preceding the Consumer Electronics Show 2010 in Las Vegas. The CES is the most important consumer electronics show of the world. Before that, it was mostly a rumor going around about a new Motorola Smartphone with a unique design. And the design of the Motorola Backflip handset is indeed unique. Although the Backflip smartphone from Motorols is no high-end phone, it still has some unique qualities; a bit of a different design, a touch panel on the back of the display(!), and a back with a keypad. Additionally, the display can be almost entirely ‘turned around’ to then be positioned above the keypad.

HTC HD2 review

Ilse Jurriën : 2010-03-04 20:45:00
HTC HD2 review at LetsGoMobile : It did not come as a surprise that the first mobile phones equipped with Windows Mobile 6.5 software were HTC phones, since HTC is considered market leader of Windows Mobile Smartphones. The HTC Touch 2 and HTC HD2 are the first HTC models featuring this system. Although several models were already launched onto the market earlier with the ability to download a free update to Windows Mobile 6.5. When it comes to HTC, the design of the menu has greatly improved. We have taken a closer look at the HTC HD2.

HTC Desire review

Mark Peters : 2010-02-26 13:13:13
HTC Desire quick review : Also named the Google Nexus One look-a-like, the new HTC Desire Smartphone was presented during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. HTC Mobile is a Taiwanese cell phone manufacturer that has been making a lot of noise with the introduction of interesting new Smartphones in the last few years, and HTC is always good for its remarkable technical specifications such as the case of the HTC Desire. The new, slim-line designed HTC Desire is equipped with a fast 1Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and a large, 3.7-inch format display. The display is not only remarkable in terms of format; the screen is a multi-touch AMOLED-type screen, so that the color saturation and contrast are immediately noticeable.

HTC Legend review

Mark Peters : 2010-02-26 12:30:00
HTC Legend quick review : HTC Mobile was also present and presented several interesting mobile products during the Mobile World Congress in Spain, including the new HTC Legend Smartphone. That was not really a surprise anymore, as several rumors already appeared at the end of 2009 wherein the HTC Legend, among others was named. But holding the final, functioning product in your hands is still always the moment of the first impression. After the presentation we took the time to give the HTC Legend a more thorough look. The first thing that we noticed is that it’s solid, in terms of body quality, without making this new HTC smartphone heavy to hold.

Toshiba Smartphone review

Mark Peters : 2010-02-26 01:15:00
Toshiba TG02 Smartphone review : A bit hidden away, but we managed to find it eventually, was the Toshiba booth. Last year, Toshiba launched the TG01 Smartphone during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Then, a smartphone with the fastest processor available, but unfortunately the Toshiba TG01 Smartphone lacked true high-end technical specifications to beat last year’s competition. The mobile World Congress 2010 in Barcelona gave Toshiba a second chance. The Toshiba TG02 did not really come as surprise. We had a look at the new Toshiba TG02 Windows Smartphone. The body of the new Toshiba smartphone seems to be a bit smaller, but the large screen has stayed.
