Ilse Jurriën : 2010-03-04 20:45:00
HTC HD2 review at LetsGoMobile : It did not come as a surprise that the first mobile phones equipped with Windows Mobile 6.5 software were HTC phones, since HTC is considered market leader of Windows Mobile Smartphones. The HTC Touch 2 and HTC HD2 are the first HTC models featuring this system. Although several models were already launched onto the market earlier with the ability to download a free update to Windows Mobile 6.5. When it comes to HTC, the design of the menu has greatly improved. We have taken a closer look at the HTC HD2.

HTC Desire review

Mark Peters : 2010-02-26 13:13:13
HTC Desire quick review : Also named the Google Nexus One look-a-like, the new HTC Desire Smartphone was presented during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. HTC Mobile is a Taiwanese cell phone manufacturer that has been making a lot of noise with the introduction of interesting new Smartphones in the last few years, and HTC is always good for its remarkable technical specifications such as the case of the HTC Desire. The new, slim-line designed HTC Desire is equipped with a fast 1Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and a large, 3.7-inch format display. The display is not only remarkable in terms of format; the screen is a multi-touch AMOLED-type screen, so that the color saturation and contrast are immediately noticeable.

HTC Legend review

Mark Peters : 2010-02-26 12:30:00
HTC Legend quick review : HTC Mobile was also present and presented several interesting mobile products during the Mobile World Congress in Spain, including the new HTC Legend Smartphone. That was not really a surprise anymore, as several rumors already appeared at the end of 2009 wherein the HTC Legend, among others was named. But holding the final, functioning product in your hands is still always the moment of the first impression. After the presentation we took the time to give the HTC Legend a more thorough look. The first thing that we noticed is that it’s solid, in terms of body quality, without making this new HTC smartphone heavy to hold.

Toshiba Smartphone review

Mark Peters : 2010-02-26 01:15:00
Toshiba TG02 Smartphone review : A bit hidden away, but we managed to find it eventually, was the Toshiba booth. Last year, Toshiba launched the TG01 Smartphone during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Then, a smartphone with the fastest processor available, but unfortunately the Toshiba TG01 Smartphone lacked true high-end technical specifications to beat last year’s competition. The mobile World Congress 2010 in Barcelona gave Toshiba a second chance. The Toshiba TG02 did not really come as surprise. We had a look at the new Toshiba TG02 Windows Smartphone. The body of the new Toshiba smartphone seems to be a bit smaller, but the large screen has stayed.

Garmin-Asus Smartphones

Mark Peters : 2010-02-25 23:50:00
New Garmin-Asus Smartphones at Mobile World Congress 2010 : The times that you used your cell phone only to make calls, seem like a long time ago. In this way we saw many applications during the Mobile World Congress 2010 in Barcelona that have nothing to do with mobile communication, but that do all make use of the cell phone platform and its different operating systems. The value of a cell phone and also measure of dependence that we have of a smartphone becomes greater every day. In this way we see several new Garmin-Asus products, including the new Garmin-Asus A50. At first glance it seems to be a strong combination of mobile communication and GPS navigation.

Puma sports phone

Mark Peters : 2010-02-25 23:00:00
Sagem PUMA cell phone : A nicely remarkable appearance was the introduction of the so-called Puma phone. It is a new smartphone that was created through intense collaboration between Puma and Sagem. We must admit that at first we were a bit skeptical. It is nice to collaborate, and ride on each other’s coattails, but after a first encounter, this Sagem Puma smartphone seems to be a pretty good thing. In terms of hardware, this Puma phone is not really remarkable, except of course its start screen. With a display format of 2.8-inches and a pretty standard resolution, these are not features with which the Puma phone can distinguish itself.

Acer Smartphone review

Mark Peters : 2010-02-25 11:35:00
Acer beTouch E400 Smartphone review : During the Mobile World Congress 2010 in Barcelona we also visited the Acer Mobile booth. During this event, Acer introduced 5 new affordable Smartphones, including the Acer beTouch E400. The Acer E400 beTouch is a smartphone that runs on the popular Google Android OS. According to Cristina Saita, Acer’s Int. Public Relations representative, the beTouch E400 runs on Android 2.1 and the new Acer smartphone is equipped with a 600Mhz lcomm processor. What’s immediately noticeable is the large format display with which the Acer beTouch mobile phone is equipped. A 3.2-inch touch screen is the largest format, but it is still easy to use.

Motorola Quench review

Mark Peters : 2010-02-25 11:30:00
Motorola Quench quick review at Mobile World Congress : Motorola’s presence during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona did not go by unnoticed. Motorola seems to make optimal use of the increasing popularity of Google’s Android OS. In the period preceding the MWC 2010, the air was buzzing with rumors about many new Android phones, including the so-called Zeppelin. The pseudonym Zeppelin received its official name, the Motorola Quench (Motorola Cliq XT for United States), and we were given a first impression during our visit to the show. The Motorola Quench is an Android smartphone that can be placed in the middle segment. The first sensation that the Motorola Quench Smartphone gives is fair, not very solid, but also not too cheap.

Nokia N900 review

Ilse Jurriën : 2010-02-10 01:15:00
Nokia N900 mobile computer review : Operating systems play an increasingly more important role when choosing a new mobile phone. Besides the design and the speed, many of its functionalities strongly depend on the phone’s operating system. Nokia always uses Symbian OS for high-end mobile phones. Symbian enables installing applications, and also managing your agenda and email account is easy and straightforward. Besides Symbian, Nokia also uses a further developed Open Source operating system, the Linux-based Maemo. The Nokia N900 is the first phone to make use of this operating system, where it is called Maemo 5..
