Samsung Wave review

Ilse Jurriën : 2010-12-15 14:20:00
Samsung Wave review at LetsGoMobile : Now that many cell phone specifications have become standard, we go a step further, and the importance of a good operating system becomes more and more evident. On the one hand, this is for recognition and ease of use, and on the other hand, functionality and available content. After the arrival of the Apple OS and the Google Android system, Samsung now also presents its own operating system, Samsung Bada. That may be important for its own identity, but the question is if it is possible to compete with the existing systems.

LG Optimus review

Ilse Jurriën : 2010-11-30 11:03:00
LG Optimus GT540 review at LetsGoMobile : At the start of 2009, HTC brought the T-Mobile G1 onto the market, which was our first experience with the Google Android operating system. It took a little getting used to, but we quickly saw this platform’s potential. Other manufacturers followed quickly with different high-end mobile phones. LG is now introducing a model for the other end of the market: a prepaid package for a favorable price. Prepaid and Android do not seem the most logical combination, partly due to the use of data. Perhaps we are heading in a new direction.

HTC Desire review

Ilse Jurriën : 2010-11-30 11:01:00
HTC Desire review at LetsGoMobile : The HTC Desire is yet another HTC model that has been added to the Android smartphone portfolio. Because the HTC Desire smartphone uses the Android operating system, the menu is already familiar. The HTC Desire is a complete smartphone, being equipped with a 5.0 megapixel digital camera, a large, 3.7-inch touchscreen, an FM-radio, a built-in GPS antenna, HSDPA and Wi-Fi, among others.

Samsung Galaxy S review

Ilse Jurriën : 2010-10-26 10:00:00
Samsung Galaxy S review at LetsGoMobile : Android is still Hot. Many cell phone manufacturers have introduced more Android phones onto the market. Samsung introduced Moment and Behold smartphones with the Android platform, among others. The Samsung Galaxy S has also joined in. Big advantages of the Android platform are the synchronization possibilities, especially with a Google account, the ever-increasing Android Market and the possibility of arranging everything according to one’s own wishes.

Motorola Milestone review

Ilse Jurriën : 2010-10-20 21:55:00
Motorola Milestone review at LetsGoMobile : Motorola’s mission is to win back lost market shares, and the Motorola Milestone is part of that strategy. Motorola is going down a new, logical road with the Android operating system. The Motorola Milestone has a foldable QWERTY-keyboard, a 5.0 megapixel digital camera, a built-in GPS-antenna, HSDPA and Wi-Fi. We have extensively tested the Motorola Milestone smartphone.

Smartphone review

Mark Peters : 2010-09-06 11:41:25
LG Mini Smartphone review : The LG mini Smartphone retail package is simple but neat. On the top we see a picture of the LG Smartphone next to a measuring stick, to show once more that the format is an important technical specification of this new LG Smartphone. The LG Mini Smartphone is very compact and has a pretty sleek design. Additionally, we find a charger, data cable, a headset and instruction manuals in the sales package. We try out the LG Mini Tiësto Edition with an 8GB memory card on which various Tiësto content is included. The LG mini Smartphone has a silver border with a piece of brushed aluminum on the front. There are only a few keys: the volume keys, the power key and a quick key for the camera.

HTC Legend Smartphone review : The HTC Legend’s retail package is very compact, which we often see in HTC; there is a type of drawer in which the Smartphone is placed. The HTC Legend sales package is entirely white, but the final commercial packaging includes phone specifications and pictures of the HTC Legend Smartphone. Underneath in the packaging, there are some accessories included. The front of the HTC Legend Smartphone is sleek and nicely designed. On the back of the Smartphone this look continues, only the digital camera has a black patch with holes around it, which I personally don’t find fitting to the whole. Under the touchscreen there are only four keys found. All the way on the bottom there is also an optical joystick.

Nokia C6 review

Mark Peters : 2010-04-29 09:45:45
Nokia C6 review : The Nokia C6 is a S60 Smartphone with a large format 3.2-inch TFT display and an image resolution of 640x360 pixels. The Nokia C6’s display has an image ratio of 16:9 and is of the resistive touch screen type. The Nokia C6 combines a touch screen with a Qwerty keyboard and supports WLAN and HSDPA (3.5G) to communicate quickly. Additionally, the new Nokia Smartphone is equipped with A-GPS and the necessary cards to be able to navigate. Whoever wants to capture moments on the go and share them with others, can do so with the 5 megapixel camera that is integrated in the Nokia C6. Moreover, the Nokia C6 is also equipped with a LED flash.

Nokia C3 review

Mark Peters : 2010-04-27 04:01:00
Nokia C3 review : The new Nokia C3 handset is Nokia’s most compact messenger phone right now. Based on the S40 platform, with a sleek design and a full Qwerty keyboard, the Nokia C3 should grab the attention of the active social media consumers. The display format is pretty standard, it is 2.4-inches, and the Nokia C3 Smartphone itself is easy to handle. The new Nokia C3 cell phone is equipped with a 3.5-inch plug and USB interfaces. The so-called dedicated headers under the display give immediate access to the most important thing, which the Nokia C3 mobile phone is meant for, namely messaging, e-mail and social networking.

Nokia E5 review

Mark Peters : 2010-04-27 04:00:00
Nokia E5 review : One of the most recent Nokia smartphones is the Nokia E5. The Nokia E5 handset has a full Qwerty keyboard and is a follow-up of what Nokia offered with the Nokia E71 and E63 models. The Nokia E5 cell phone is especially aimed at the business user, who will also use the Nokia smartphone for personal use. That is actually a pretty logical and practically-oriented target group. A large part of business users also actively use their phone for personal use. The fact that the Nokia E5 is a business phone is noticeable right away in creating an e-mail account. The possibility of creating several (up to ten) accounts is offered, and is carried out easily.

LG GD880 mini review

Mark Peters : 2010-04-26 12:20:00
LG GD880 Mini review : During the recent Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, LG may have been the main Platinum sponsor, but LG itself was nowhere to be found. Unfortunately for LG and unfortunately for the visiting press, the introduction of the LG GD880 Mini handset during the MWC 2010 was a failure. There was also relatively little attention paid to the new LG smartphone. The annual TeleVision 2010 event was recently organized in Nieuwegein,in the Netherlands, where LG was also present. Among a diverse assortment of LG cell phones, there was also the new LG GD880 Mini, and it’s time to take a closer look. Mini formats seem to be becoming a new trend. Mini, but with full functionality.

Samsung S5350 review

Mark Peters : 2010-04-02 07:15:00
Samsung S5350 quick review : Samsung is continuously busy conquering market shares. Whoever visited or followed Samsung’s recent global press conferences, for example the conference during the recent Consumer Electronics Show 2010 in Las Vegas, will quickly conclude that different points are slowly but surely flowing into one another, or are at least connected to each other. Imaging, mobile communication, 3D, notebooks, etc. Therefore, Samsung makes me think more and more of Sony, but then the Sony of several years ago. At breakneck speed, product after product is being spit out of the Samsung factory, it’s stunning. One of those hundreds of products is the new Samsung S5350 Shark.

Samsung S5150 review

Mark Peters : 2010-04-02 07:13:00
Samsung S5150 quick review : Samsung Electronics is one of those handset manufacturers that are successful in assigning certain cell phones to a specific target group, for example the female callers. With the very obvious term Lady phone, Samsung presented its new Lady phones to the world press. We have discussed the Samsung S7070 previously during Samsung’s Lady phone event during the Amsterdam International Fashion Week. The Samsung S5150 Diva folder is the other Lady phone that we ran into during the Mobile World Congress 2010 in Barcelona. It is also the more luxurious version of the two Samsung Lady phones. The extra LED display, integrated on the front of the Samsung S5150 shows among others a digital clock.

LG GW620 review

Ilse Jurriën : 2010-03-26 12:45:00
LG GW620 review at LetsGoMobile : The LG GW620 is LG’s first Android Smartphone available on the market. A logical step, as many brands have chosen this relatively young operating system. In the meantime, the Android platform has become indispensible in the mobile communication world. Such an operating system is of course very important. It determines everything. If the phone runs smoothly and quickly, if Flash support is possible, and can applications be developed and installed? These are questions that not everyone thinks about when they make a new purchase, but they certainly help in making a good choice.

Samsung Armani review

Ilse Jurriën : 2010-03-23 18:18:18
Samsung Armani review at LetsGoMobile : After a previous collaboration between Samsung and Giorgio Armani, about two years ago with the Samsung P520, the companies have once again joined forces to develop another cell phone together. This time, it is the Samsung Armani 2 B7620 phone. The difference between the previous Samsung Armani and the Armani 2 lies mainly in the functionality. As with other brands, we find the Samsung design phones often have to compromise somewhat when it comes to specifications. However, the Samsung Armani 2 is considered a high-end mobile phone.

Nokia X6 review

Ilse Jurriën : 2010-03-22 00:30:02
Nokia X6 review at LetsGoMobile : We have known the Finnish phone manufacturer Nokia’s XpressMusic cell phones for a while, but now a new series, the Nokia X-series has been added to the assortment of XpressMusic phones. This series is added next to the N-series, which emphasizes multimedia, and the more business-oriented E-series. The new series of Nokia phones are to optimize the user's musical experience. The first two models in the X-series are the Nokia X3 and the Nokia X6.

Sony-Ericsson Vivaz Pro

Mark Peters : 2010-03-09 23:10:00
Sony-Ericsson Vivaz Pro business smartphone : The Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, is the moment for cell phone manufacturers to present themselves to the world press. And next to the marketing talk, which sounds nice, we of course go mostly for the products, as those are pumped up and form an important part of the manufacturer’s image. Although Sony-Ericsson seems to be focusing less on hardware, and instead teaching the consumer more to experience the different services that Sony-Ericsson has to offer, but we still need a Sony-Ericsson smartphone. The Sony-Ericsson Vivaz Pro Smartphone received an official status during the MWC 2010. It is a business version of the Sony-Ericsson Vivaz handset.

Acer Liquid review

Mark Peters : 2010-03-09 15:15:15
Acer Liquid E quick review : Acer brought some new exciting smartphones to the Mobile World Congress 2010 in Barcelona, including the “new” Acer Liquid E. “New” because it is actually a further developed version of a smartphone that was introduced last year: the Acer Liquid cell phone. It is interesting for the owners of an Acer Liquid handset to see the possibilities that the Acer Liquid e mobile phone has due to the software applications of Android 2.1. But if Acer Liquid smartphone owners still have a bit of patience, their OS can be updated to version 2.1 in the summer of 2010, at least that is the expectation that was created during our visit to the Acer booth during the MWC 2010 in Spain.

HTC HD mini review

Mark Peters : 2010-03-09 14:00:00
HTC HD mini review : A remarkable development in Smartphones is the running trend to go smaller. Smaller smartphones, with smaller displays. Although that is a broad concept, because a 3.2-inch format display is still not less than average for a modern smartphone. In any case, there was reason enough for HTC to come up with the HTC HD mini smartphone. It is a new Windows Mobile smartphone with a more compact design and with a more modest format display of 3.2 inches. In comparison with the high-end smartphones with a 4.3-inch format, it makes quite a difference. During the Mobile World Congress in Spain we took a moment to have a closer look at the new HTC HD mini Smartphone.

Motorola Backflip

Mark Peters : 2010-03-09 07:50:00
Motorola Backflip Android Smartphone : We first ran into the new Motorola Backflip Smartphone during the Sneak Preview, an event preceding the Consumer Electronics Show 2010 in Las Vegas. The CES is the most important consumer electronics show of the world. Before that, it was mostly a rumor going around about a new Motorola Smartphone with a unique design. And the design of the Motorola Backflip handset is indeed unique. Although the Backflip smartphone from Motorols is no high-end phone, it still has some unique qualities; a bit of a different design, a touch panel on the back of the display(!), and a back with a keypad. Additionally, the display can be almost entirely ‘turned around’ to then be positioned above the keypad.
