Review Canon PowerShot

Dennis Hissink : 2010-12-21 15:00:00
Canon PowerShot S95 review : Last year, Canon launched the S90, a camera that represented a new road in Canon’s strategy. A camera which did not have Megapixels as its most important feature, and was even downgraded on paper in terms of hard specifications, but at the same time was advanced in image quality. It was a camera that was received wholeheartedly and was highly praised. The Canon PowerShot S95, successor to the S90, follows the same road that Canon took with the S90. It is a compact camera that again focuses on image quality, which is a good development.

Review Canon PowerShot G12

Dennis Hissink : 2010-11-09 11:40:00
Canon PowerShot G12 digital camera review : Canon has an impressive amount of successful camera series. Recently, ten years of the Digital IXUS camera was celebrated, which is still a good seller. The Canon PowerShot G-series is such a camera line that is especially popular among enthusiastic amateur photographers, but also professional photographers that want to have an extra compact camera on the side. Just before the start of the Photokina 2010, Canon introduced its most recent G-model, the Canon PowerShot G12.

Review Canon PowerShot SX130 IS

Dennis Hissink : 2010-10-17 18:45:00
Canon PowerShot SX130 IS digital camera review : The Canon PowerShot SX130 IS camera follows up the SX120 IS megazoom camera. It is a logical successor and lays in the trend of the Canon PowerShot megazoom cameras. The new Canon SX130IS is not very surprising; it is introduced with improved functions. The effective image resolution has increased to 12 Megapixels and the zoom range has also increased with 12x and wider angle (28mm instead of 36mm in the SX120 IS). The Canon PowerShot SX130 IS’ body has had a bit of restyling, but still really resembles its predecessor.

Canon IXUS 1000 HS review

Dennis Hissink : 2010-09-14 20:30:00
Canon IXUS Review : 1000 HS photo gallery : The Canon IXUS digital camera series is known for its stylish and trendy design, and compact dimensions. The new Canon IXUS 1000 HS compact camera is not an exception. The Canon IXUS 1000HS camera has a remarkable design and with its trendy metal body and 10x optical zoom, it is quite a nice surprise. Today, the compact mega zoom cameras are popular and seem to be an ideal compromise between advanced photo settings and features, and pocket format dimensions. Of course, the new Canon IXUS 1000HS digital camera is equipped with a built-in optical Image Stabilizer (IS), so that it is possible to shoot in a larger zoom range with little light.

Canon EOS 60D review

Mark Peters : 2010-09-06 13:20:00
Canon 60D review : That a Canon EOS 60D was coming was no longer a surprise to the attentive reader. The many rumors, despite Canon Europe’s very strict embargo rules, are only increasing in size, and make the moment of introduction less and less attractive. This time, the Canon 60D rumors seemed to be coming from the United States and Asia. The Canon EOS 60D, moreover, is worth the trouble to have a look at. I had the opportunity to get to know the Canon EOS 60D DSLR camera at a presentation made by Canon Netherlands. My first impression as a photographer was that you get ‘a whole lot of camera’ in your hands. The EOS 50D is history, and the Canon EOS 60D is taking over.

Canon camera reviews

Dennis Hissink : 2010-07-02 12:45:00
Canon IXUS 300 HS camera review : The Canon IXUS camera series is made up of quite a few generations. Canon frequently introduces its design cameras that are especially aimed at the trendy amateur photographer. Now and then a camera turns out to not only be designed stylishly, but also to be progressive in the technical sense. The past generations were each equipped with diverse innovative functions, but it did not make the difference with the competition any clearer. The Canon IXUS 300 HS is a 10 Megapixel camera with 3.8x optical zoom. So far, nothing much is revealed.

Canon 550D review

Mark Peters : 2010-04-04 23:10:00
Canon 550D quick review : Recording with a digital SLR camera is becoming more and more popular. We already know the possibility of recording video clips with a compact camera, but the possibility to do this in a higher quality with a DSLR camera is fairly new. Canon has recently launched the EOS 550D, a DSLR camera with video function. The Canon 550D is an advanced amateur DSLR, but with the same video function as we saw in the semi-professional EOS 7D. Recording in 1080p with 24 bps (or 25 and 30 bps) is easily possible with the Canon EOS 550D. Additionally, you can also simply record in 720p video quality with the Canon 550D digital SLR camera and with variable image speed (50 or 60 bps).
