Review Canon PowerShot

Dennis Hissink : 2010-12-21 15:00:00
Canon PowerShot S95 review : Last year, Canon launched the S90, a camera that represented a new road in Canon’s strategy. A camera which did not have Megapixels as its most important feature, and was even downgraded on paper in terms of hard specifications, but at the same time was advanced in image quality. It was a camera that was received wholeheartedly and was highly praised. The Canon PowerShot S95, successor to the S90, follows the same road that Canon took with the S90. It is a compact camera that again focuses on image quality, which is a good development.

Canon PowerShot S95 review

Mark Peters : 2010-11-22 03:00:00
Canon PowerShot S95 photo gallery : We have received a test sample of the Canon PowerShot S95. The first small batch of sample pictures are captured and published in this article. The Canon PowerShot S95 is a compact designed 10 megapixel digital camera with HD video and RAW support. A kind of camera a photographer wants to carry along in a small pocket. The fast f/2.0 lens of the Canon PowerShot S95 camera allows the user to shoot without a tripod or flash in darker conditions. The optical Image Stabilizer corrects camera shake up to 4-stops, while Hybrid IS gives sharper results in macro scenes. HD movies are now made possible in 720p at 24fps. The user can record HD movies with stereo sound and play back via the HDMI terminal.

Review Canon PowerShot G12

Dennis Hissink : 2010-11-09 11:40:00
Canon PowerShot G12 digital camera review : Canon has an impressive amount of successful camera series. Recently, ten years of the Digital IXUS camera was celebrated, which is still a good seller. The Canon PowerShot G-series is such a camera line that is especially popular among enthusiastic amateur photographers, but also professional photographers that want to have an extra compact camera on the side. Just before the start of the Photokina 2010, Canon introduced its most recent G-model, the Canon PowerShot G12.

Review Canon PowerShot SX130 IS

Dennis Hissink : 2010-10-17 18:45:00
Canon PowerShot SX130 IS digital camera review : The Canon PowerShot SX130 IS camera follows up the SX120 IS megazoom camera. It is a logical successor and lays in the trend of the Canon PowerShot megazoom cameras. The new Canon SX130IS is not very surprising; it is introduced with improved functions. The effective image resolution has increased to 12 Megapixels and the zoom range has also increased with 12x and wider angle (28mm instead of 36mm in the SX120 IS). The Canon PowerShot SX130 IS’ body has had a bit of restyling, but still really resembles its predecessor.

Canon 3D experience

Dennis Hissink : 2010-10-14 19:50:00
Canon Expo 3D experience : Visitors to the Projection Display zone of the Canon Expo 2010 were immersed in a 3D experience which makes use of a huge 9 meter diameter dome and takes them on a trip to key sites in Paris, Tokyo and New York. This was achieved by using a projection technique of layering multiple images from 10 Canon XEED SX7 Mark II projectors, which will create a panoramic view. The dome will be set at a 35° angle, so that visitors can look into the 3D image. The dome is suitable as a high-end solution for environments such as a museum, planetarium or visitor centre. The Projection Display zone was part of the Canon Expo in Paris which is held every five years.

SLR camera concept

Dennis Hissink : 2010-10-14 19:30:00
Canon SLR camera concept : At the Canon Expo 2010 in Paris we saw some interesting concept products. Among them a SLR-type camera that reminded me of one of the early Canon PowerShot megazoom cameras, the Canon PowerShot Pro 90 IS. The Canon Pro 90 IS was announced back in the beginning of 2001, almost ten years ago! The new multi-user SLR concept camera combines ultra-high definition picture quality with high magnification. This Canon SLR concept was also showcased at the World Expo 2010 in Shanghai where among others Canon showed their vision of the future. Canon’s SLR concept camera is a camera of the future and visualizes the experiences by the world’s largest camera company.

Panorama camera

Dennis Hissink : 2010-10-14 16:30:00
120 Megapixel Canon Panorama camera : Since its foundation, Canon has striven to create new value for society in the form of revolutionary products and unique, innovative technologies. Canon is working to realize further advances in a range of technologies, including image-recognition, and image-search technologies, in order to achieve sophisticated synergies between products and deliver new value along with new solutions. One of those impressive concept products is an ultra high resolution panorama camera featuring an impressive 120 million pixel CMOS sensor. Most impressive was the ability to reproduce real-time Full HD video from any designated area of the captured scene. Wow!!

Single Shot Multi-band camera

Dennis Hissink : 2010-10-14 14:12:00
50 Megapixel Single Shot Multi-band digital camera : In the New Perspective of Imaging Zone at the Canon Expo 2010, Canon's imaging technologies gave visitors a unique glimpse into the power of image by allowing them to see images in a way they could not have seen before. This zone includes Canon’s most advanced innovations, and shows how they will create new benefits at home and in the digital workplace. The commercial use for innovations demonstrated in this area has not yet been determined. The concept products we saw at the Canon Expo in Paris were very interesting and not hard to imagine that most of them could soon be reality. The usage of some of the concepts like the world first Single Shot multi-band camera was obvious.

Canon IXUS 1000 HS review

Dennis Hissink : 2010-09-14 20:30:00
Canon IXUS Review : 1000 HS photo gallery : The Canon IXUS digital camera series is known for its stylish and trendy design, and compact dimensions. The new Canon IXUS 1000 HS compact camera is not an exception. The Canon IXUS 1000HS camera has a remarkable design and with its trendy metal body and 10x optical zoom, it is quite a nice surprise. Today, the compact mega zoom cameras are popular and seem to be an ideal compromise between advanced photo settings and features, and pocket format dimensions. Of course, the new Canon IXUS 1000HS digital camera is equipped with a built-in optical Image Stabilizer (IS), so that it is possible to shoot in a larger zoom range with little light.

Canon PowerShot SX130 IS review

Dennis Hissink : 2010-09-13 22:15:00
Canon PowerShot SX130 IS photo gallery : The new Canon PowerShot SX130 IS camera is the successor to the SX120 IS megazoom camera and is equipped with a bit more extensive specifications. It’s a new PowerShot camera, as expected, with an increase in the amount of pixels to 12MP, an extension of the zoom range of 12x, HD video, extra pre-programmed scenes and SDXC memory card support. It is not a camera that is worth trading in your SX120 IS for, but for the rest this new Mega zoom camera is of course interesting. The Canon PowerShot SX130 IS digital camera was introduced a month before the start of the Photokina 2010 (September 21st - 26th), and will most likely be one of Canon’s show horses.

Canon EOS 60D review

Mark Peters : 2010-09-06 13:20:00
Canon 60D review : That a Canon EOS 60D was coming was no longer a surprise to the attentive reader. The many rumors, despite Canon Europe’s very strict embargo rules, are only increasing in size, and make the moment of introduction less and less attractive. This time, the Canon 60D rumors seemed to be coming from the United States and Asia. The Canon EOS 60D, moreover, is worth the trouble to have a look at. I had the opportunity to get to know the Canon EOS 60D DSLR camera at a presentation made by Canon Netherlands. My first impression as a photographer was that you get ‘a whole lot of camera’ in your hands. The EOS 50D is history, and the Canon EOS 60D is taking over.

Canon photo printer

Mark Peters : 2010-09-02 10:00:00

The new Canon photo printer is ideal for those looking for a convenient printer that delivers quality photos. Available in sleek black or white colour variations, prints produced by the Canon photo printer can be made into personal photo albums for families to treasure. It provides an attractive option for small businesses who want to offer on-the-spot ID Photos or instant photo printing services.

Canon EOS 60D

Ilse Jurriën : 2010-08-26 20:50:00
Canon EOS 60D SLR camera : High-quality digital capture and skillful post-processing go hand-in-hand for superior end results, and more control over in-camera image processing means less time editing and more time shooting. At the same time, the overwhelming popularity of Full HD video recording with other current EOS Digital SLRs has led to customer requests for more advanced features such as manual audio level control and flexible LCD screens. Canon delivers all of these features and more with the new Canon EOS 60D Digital SLR Camera. For the first time on an EOS camera, the Canon EOS 60D DSLR boasts a three-inch Vari-Angle Clear View LCD screen, EOS Full HD video recording with manual overrides including audio level control.
