Navmii GPS Live iPhone navigation application :Navmii, a leading satellite navigation company in the UK, announces its GPS Navigation application for iPhone available for a fraction of the cost of other GPS applications, thanks to a new deal with digital map provider Automotive Navigation Data (AND). Navmii GPS Live is a fully functioning suite of GPS Navigation applications for the iPhone. Navmii GPS Live applications for Germany, Spain and The Netherlands are available now for only €3.99 per country from the iTunes store. France will be available from early next week. Navmii GPS Live does everything you would expect from an in car GPS Navigation unit for a tiny fraction of the cost.

The app lets users select from over 450,000 books from the Kindle Store on iPad and features Amazon Whispersync technology that saves and synchronizes customers’ last page read, bookmarks, notes, and highlights across their Kindle, Kindle DX, iPhone, iPod touch, Mac, iPad, and more. “Kindle for iPad is the perfect companion for the millions of customers who already own a Kindle or Kindle DX, and a way for customers around the world to download and enjoy books even if they don’t yet have a Kindle.” The Kindle App for iPad is available for free from the App Store on iPad or at iTunes.

The eBay for iPad app delivers a dramatically different, visually compelling shopping experience to browse the vast selection of products available on eBay, the world’s largest online marketplace. eBay for iPad builds on the momentum of eBay’s expanding portfolio of new iPhone apps, including its new Selling and Classifieds apps launched earlier this week. More than 8 million consumers are using eBay’s shopping app for iPhone. eBay expects to generate $1.5 billion in merchandise volume through mobile commerce in 2010. eBay for iPad defines a new way to shop online.

Multitasking offered by iPhone OS 4 software : Apple previewed its iPhone OS 4 software and released a beta version of the software to iPhone Developer Program members. The iPhone OS 4 beta release includes an updated Software Development Kit (SDK) with over 1,500 new Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and over 100 new features that will be available to iPhone and iPod touch users this summer. New features include Multitasking for third party apps; Folders to better organize and access apps; improved Mail with a unified inbox, fast inbox switching and threaded messages; enhanced Enterprise support with even better data protection, mobile device management, wireless app distribution and more.

In a Control4 enabled smart home, users will be able to access lighting, temperature, music, video, security systems, web cameras and more from an Apple iPad.
