Adobe Lightroom 3 software for Windows and Mac : Adobe announced the immediate availability of Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3 software for Windows and Mac, the digital photography workflow solution that allows photographers to quickly organize, enhance and showcase their images from one application. First released as a public beta in October 2009, the final version of Adobe Lightroom 3 introduces a completely redesigned performance architecture that better handles growing image libraries and provides an unrivaled raw processing engine with noise reduction and sharpening tools to achieve the highest image quality. The estimated street price is US$299 for new users with an upgrade price of US$99 for qualified registered Lightroom users.

Developer access to Photoshop Mobile Android 1.1 : Adobe announced that third-party application developers now have access to the Photoshop.com Mobile for Android 1.1 editor, allowing them to easily make it a part of their applications. In addition, Photoshop.com Mobile for Android 1.1 is available, providing users of the Google Mobile operating system with quick and easy photo-editing and sharing capabilities. Photoshop.com Mobile for Android 1.1 enhances the camera-phone experience by providing a collection of new editing effects. “Photoshop.com Mobile is the ‘go-to,’ photo editing application for iPhone and Android devices,” said Doug Mack, vice president and general manager of Digital Imaging and Rich Media Solutions at Adobe.
