Ilse Jurriën : 2009-05-18 06:00:01
Sony Alpha A230 SLR camera : Incredible images are now within everyone’s reach, even if you’ve never picked up a digital SLR before. Sony expands the Alpha family with the A230 : an easy-to-use DSLR camera that makes serious picture quality and shooting options brilliantly accessible. The Sony Alpha 230 has been styled for comfortable handling. The Sony A230 is the world’s lightest DSLR featuring an APS-C sized image sensor and in-body image stabilisation. Its compact size makes it great for trips away when you want to grab superb pictures without taking up extra space in your luggage.

Ilse Jurriën : 2009-05-18 06:00:00
New Sony Alpha accessories : Sony introduces four new compact lenses, super-slim external flash and colour-coordinated lifestyle accessories; a portrait lens DT 50mm F1.8 SAM, a 1:1 macro lens DT 30mm F2.8 SAM, two versatile telephoto zooms: DT 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 SAM and DT 55-200mm F4-5.6 SAM, an ultra slim, easy-to-use flash HVL-F20AM - an ideal flash commander for the Sony A900. And a ‘Handbag’-style carry case, wrap cloth, hand strap and lens cap holder in attractive co-ordinated colour finishes. It’s never been easier for keen amateurs and step-up photographers to explore the creative possibilities of their Alpha digital SLR camera.

Sony Walkman review

Ilse Jurriën : 2009-05-03 12:30:00
Sony Walkman review at LetsGoMobile : Sony was founded by Masaru Ibuka and Akio Morita. It wasn't until the company changed its name to Sony Corporation that things really started to take off in the USA. Today, Sony is a renowned company because of its Playstation, VAIO computers, television sets, digital cameras and, of course, the Sony Walkman series. The Sony Walkman NWZ-S639F belongs to the S-Series and is, just like its siblings of the A-series, equipped with a thin design and a music, photo and video mode. One thing the S-series does feature whereas the A-series does not, is the SenseMe function.

Sony World Photography Awards 2009

Dennis Hissink : 2009-04-22 00:30:00
2009 Sony Photography Awards : The Sony World Photography Awards are a week-long celebration of the photographic culture, history and image organized by Sony on an annual basis. Cannes is famous for the attention given to movies each year, and it is visited by many famous and not so famous stars from across the globe. This year, during the Sony Photography Awards festival, moving & still images succeeded each other rapidly. 8 Dutch people were nominated out of 186 photographers from 43 countries. The professional jury consisting of photographers, representatives of international photo agencies and publishers created this list from 36,546 submissions by professional photographers and 25,370 submissions by amateur photographers.

Sony GPS camcorder

Mark Peters : 2009-04-04 11:30:00
Sony HDR-TG7VE HD GPS camcorder : Sony introduced the full HD, stylish GPS Handycam; Sony HDR-TG7VE. Ultra-compact, light and beautifully styled, it’s always with you. Even smaller and slimmer than its predecessor, the new Handycam HDR-TG7VE from Sony is again the world’s smallest, lightest Full HD GPS camcorder. The new Sony GPS camcorder redefines the concept of ‘HD to go’. With stylish looks, smart shooting features and brilliantly simple operation, it’s a perfect travel partner. Slip it into a pocket or bag for nights out, parties weekends away, business trips or longer trips abroad. Like its TG3E predecessor, the super-tough pure titanium body features a special Premium Hard coating.

Sweep panorama photo technology

Mark Peters : 2009-03-10 15:21:18
Sony Cyber-Shot Sweep panorama photo mode technology : Sony is spotlighting its first digital still camera to feature sweep panorama technology here at the Photo Marketing Association confab. The new Sony CyberShot DSC-HX1 digital camera can take 224-degree panorama photos in one easy press-and-sweep motion. Capturing wide landscapes, church spires or skyscrapers is as easy as “press and sweep.” The Sony Sweep panorama photo mode lets you reach beyond the traditional wide-angle lens and capture breathtaking shots. With wide and ultra-wide settings and horizontal or vertical directions, sweep panorama photo mode can take up to 224-degree horizontal or 154-degree vertical shots.

Sony digital cameras at PMA

Dennis Hissink : 2009-03-09 02:10:00
Sony digital SLR cameras at PMA 2009 : In the spacious Sony booth, the entire assortment of digital imaging products is shown in all its aspects. The entire Sony Alpha digital SLR camera line was presented and consumers eagerly took the opportunity to try out the Alpha DSLR for themselves. Still, I have the impression that there's a vast difference in the way Sony attracted the attention with DSLR cameras exactly a year ago, compared to today. One way or another, it seems to me that the plan to position the Alpha DSLR and in particular the higher assortment (Alpha 900 and 700) in the current market as they are now, was not entirely successful.

Sony Webbie HD cameras

Ilse Jurriën : 2009-03-07 23:30:00
Sony Webbie MP4 cameras at PMA 2009 : We'd almost overlook them: Sony's Webbie Cams. The new brightly colored Sony cameras record video in MP4 format and digital pictures targeted on the World Wide Web. The Sony MHS-CM1 and MHS-PM1 Webbie HD cameras are able to record in a High Definition resolution of 1440x1080 pixels at a speed of 30 frames per second. In addition, 5 Megapixel pictures can be made. The Sony Webby cameras are compact and light enough to take them around wherever you go. Nice to use for the capture of daily moments, or to add to your Blog site. The included software serves to quickly and simply convert the video or photo data to enable publishing on the Internet.
