Sony digital cameras at PMA

Dennis Hissink : 2009-03-09 02:10:00
Sony digital SLR cameras at PMA 2009 : In the spacious Sony booth, the entire assortment of digital imaging products is shown in all its aspects. The entire Sony Alpha digital SLR camera line was presented and consumers eagerly took the opportunity to try out the Alpha DSLR for themselves. Still, I have the impression that there's a vast difference in the way Sony attracted the attention with DSLR cameras exactly a year ago, compared to today. One way or another, it seems to me that the plan to position the Alpha DSLR and in particular the higher assortment (Alpha 900 and 700) in the current market as they are now, was not entirely successful.

Sony Webbie HD cameras

Sony Webbie MP4 cameras at PMA 2009 : We'd almost overlook them: Sony's Webbie Cams. The new brightly colored Sony cameras record video in MP4 format and digital pictures targeted on the World Wide Web. The Sony MHS-CM1 and MHS-PM1 Webbie HD cameras are able to record in a High Definition resolution of 1440x1080 pixels at a speed of 30 frames per second. In addition, 5 Megapixel pictures can be made. The Sony Webby cameras are compact and light enough to take them around wherever you go. Nice to use for the capture of daily moments, or to add to your Blog site. The included software serves to quickly and simply convert the video or photo data to enable publishing on the Internet.

Sony Alpha lenses

Sony Alpha lenses at PMA 2009 : During the PMA, Sony Japan announced several new lenses; that is to say, they have announced the developments. It strikes us that hardly any announcements, if even any at all, were made about the Sony Alpha system during PMA 2009. A large showcase received a prominent place, showcasing the available lenses for the Alpha. Among them, we find the new concept lenses, which were announced rather inconspicuously by Sony Japan during the past week. It is not even likely that these concept models will actually appear on the market as Sony lenses. It's more about showing the possibilities of the Alpha system.
