Samsung NX camera showcased at PMA Show in Las Vegas : As for the Samsung NX camera; it may have been introduced as a concept, but many things still remain unclear. There are no announcements whatsoever from Samsung about specifications that are not already in the press release, but as we look at the concept cameras showcased behind glass, we see features claimed like video capture. This makes us assume that the Samsung NX camera will be able to record videos. The DX format sensor that is going to be used in the future Samsung NX camera, is larger that that of the compact camera, which causes us to expect more from the image quality of this digital camera.

Samsung NX Series digital camera concept : The answer to the question why Samsung hardly revealed any news during the Photokina 2008 could be the announcement of Samsung's new camera concept. At the time of writing this article, a few days before the PMA in Las Vegas kicks off, I have not yet managed to get hold of the Samsung NX camera. However, according to the information I received, Samsung may well be putting itself in the foreground during PMA. The new concept is likely to become a Samsung NX camera, a hybrid digital camera which could build bridges between the digital SLR and the compact camera. At first glance, the Samsung NX camera seems to use the best of both segments.

New Samsung cell phones launched at Mobile Fair in Barcelona Samsung brought along a large line of new cell phones to the GSMA Mobile World Congress 2009 in Spain. We counted no less than 26 new cell phones. Although they do not all target the same region, it remains an impressive figure. The new assortment of Samsung cell phones was showcased in the back of the Samsung Mobile booth in Barcelona. A more public presentation was prepared only for the 'eye catchers'. This meant a lot of attention for the Samsung Beat DJ, a cell phone that provides (Ice Power) sound of Samsung in corporation with Bang & Olufsen. The Samsung Beat DJ is a cell phone specifically aiming at the music freak who is also design-sensitive.
