Ricoh GXR camera system : Ricoh announce the release of the GXR interchangeable unit camera system featuring the world's smallest and lightest digital camera with the ability to change lenses. The new Ricoh GXR is an interchangeable unit camera system in which lenses are changed by using a slide-in mount system to attach camera units to the body. The lens, image sensor, and image processing engine are integrated into the camera units so the body itself does not contain an image sensor. With world-leading small size and low weight enabling easy carrying, the Ricoh GXR camera system features a highly rigid magnesium alloy body and multiple camera units that can be changed to best fit the scene to be photographed.

Ricoh GXR system camera : Okay…Take a Ricoh GR digital camera, make some components with it, sleep on it for a night and come up with a brilliant idea. That is how the new Ricoh GXR can be seen. Leaked information now indeed confirms the existence of a Ricoh system camera. The Ricoh GXR appears to be a standard compact camera in terms of dimensions, but the GXR is truly a system camera. For the first time, Ricoh experiences the best that the world's most compact system has to offer, even smaller than Olympus and Panasonic’s current Micro Four Thirds system cameras. Once again, Ricoh has distinguished itself from the masses and in the case of the Ricoh GXR, due attention will be paid!

New Ricoh System camera to be announced soon! : We have received information from various sources about an upcoming introduction of a new Ricoh system camera. The new Ricoh system camera has presumably been developed based on a digital camera without built-in mirror. This system has become very popular lately, thanks to the introduction of the Panasonic Micro Four Thirds system cameras, among others. Whether Ricoh is actually launching a so-called mirror-less system camera is yet to be seen, although early reports mention a possible release in November. The Ricoh system camera will most likely be equipped with an APS-C image sensor, similar to the Samsung NX10, which first appeared in the news at PMA 2009.

Ricoh camera review : CX1 photo gallery : Ricoh enjoys a well-known reputation as an innovative camera manufacturer. And although Ricoh is a small player in the field of compact cameras where heavyweights like Canon, Panasonic and Sony seem to rule, Ricoh still manages to keep its brand in the limelight by introducing inventive image solutions time and time again. This also goes for the Ricoh CX1, a digital camera with a 7.1x wide angle zoom lens (28-200mm) and an incredibly large dynamic range of 12 EV. Additionally, the Ricoh CX1 features a fast CMOS sensor, and the camera is supported by a new Smooth Imagine Engine IV image processor. The Ricoh camera has a number of remarkable functions to offer the creative photographer.
