Nikon D700 review

Mark Peters : 2009-02-11 13:20:00
Nikon D700 digital SLR review : Until the Nikon D700 came around, many Nikon DSLR users were a bit jealous of Canon users. The EOS 5D was a reasonably compact camera with a full-frame image sensor, something Nikon lacked. Luckily for the Nikonians, Nikon solved this problem with the introduction of the D700. The Nikon D700 features the same sensor as the more expensive D3 which has already proven itself. In combination with the EXPEED processor, the sensor performs well, particularly with high ISO values. Many Nikon photographers had high hopes for this feature.

Fujifilm FinePix F200 EXR preview

Dennis Hissink : 2009-02-07 21:00:00
Fujifilm camera preview : Last year marked the 10th anniversary of the Fujifilm FinePix digital camera, and to celebrate these 10 years of FinePix cameras, Fujifilm introduced a new image sensor during the Photokina; the Super CCD EXR. Fujifilm has already built up a good reputation in the field of sensor innovation. The corporation has often endured a lone yet in the end, quite successful battle to try and get the advantages of the Super CCD concept through to the consumer. The hot topics of the past few years were the Fujifilm S5 Pro SLR and, of course, the famous Fujifilm F30fd and F31fd cameras. It is now time to take a look at the Fujifilm FinePix F200 EXR; the first camera that is built around the new Super CCD EXR sensor.

Nikon Coolpix P6000 photo gallery

Dennis Hissink : 2009-01-31 13:20:00
Nikon Coolpix P6000 test photo’s : The Nikon Coolpix P6000 is a compact camera finally looking like a true Nikon camera again. Not like a Casio look-a-like or an ultra-stylish colorful compact camera but a solidly built camera body featuring many setting possibilities that will certainly appeal to the creative photographer. As for its functions, the Nikon Coolpix P6000 is a compact camera belonging to the entry-level assortment of Nikon's DSLR cameras. The Nikon P6000 features photography functions as well as a genuine GPS module and LAN support. In short, the camera is able to distinguish itself from the masses for its specifications alone. High time to take some test samples prior to the upcoming Nikon Coolpix P6000 review.

Canon Photo Gallery: PowerShot A2000 IS

Dennis Hissink : 2009-01-12 23:30:00
Canon PowerShot A2000 IS Gallery : Canon's latest series of PowerShot A cameras has undergone a change, internally as well as externally. The Canon A2000 IS is an entry-level compact camera with emphasis on user-friendliness and simplicity, and has certainly gone through a design change. For example, the handgrip has disappeared and a large-sized screen has replaced the optical viewfinder. Besides all of this, the manual setting possibilities have been restricted considerably, leaving only the long shutter option at hand, which seems to bring about a loss of the unique features of the PowerShot A-cameras. On the other hand, the Canon A2000 offers many innovative image solutions which add to the overall image quality of this camera.

Olympus E30 review

Dennis Hissink : 2009-01-05 00:10:01
Olympus E30 digital SLR camera review : With the introduction of the Olympus E30, a pro-consumer digital SLR camera becomes available by Olympus for the first time. The camera's target group are those users who don't really care for a solid housing that withstands all weather types, yet have strong demands when it comes to the specifications. The Olympus E30 was officially mentioned for the first time during the Photokina in September of this year. At that moment, the camera still only existed in beta status, however, it was introduced worldwide very fast in November and is now actually available.
