Samsung WB500 photo gallery : In the beginning of this year, Samsung introduced a large series of cameras. Among which is the Samsung WB500, a Megazoom camera with small dimensions. The Samsung WB500 has been in the news before, when it was still a prototype, during the Photokina 2008. At the time, it was introduced as the world's first 10x zoom with 24mm wide-angle; however, today already encountering fierce competition from Panasonic with their 12x zoom camera (LUMIX T27) with a wide-angle zoom starting at 25mm. This combination is ideal for the all-round photographer and is also known as travel camera or holiday camera. It is with a reason that Panasonic has been quite successful for some time now with its Travel Zoom cameras.

Nikon Coolpix P90 pictures : With the introduction of the Nikon Coolpix P90, the P80 obtained its successor. The Nikon P90 has become the new top model in the extensive range of Nikon Megazoom cameras that we have seen passing by continuously. In spite of the fact the digital SLR camera drops in price every so often, and the market share has been increasing fast, the Megazoom segment remains appealing. Naturally, the compact size in combination with the large optical zoom range is the basis for this success. The technique mostly comes directly from a DSLR and this is also the case for the Nikon P90, for example; the exposure, image processing, and the EXPEED processor. Altogether, it makes the Nikon P90 a powerful combination.

Canon PowerShot G10 digital camera test : The Canon PowerShot G10 was introduced worldwide around the time of the Photokina 2008. The G10 is the latest model of Canon's successful G-series cameras. The Canon PowerShot G camera is always prone to attract the attention of photographers, the amateur as well as the professional photographer. The Canon PowerShot G10 is the immediate successor to the G9 and it comes as no surprise that both cameras look a lot alike. Nikon Coolpix L100 picture gallery : With a long period full of camera introductions behind us, it is now time to focus on getting hold of the first test samples and produce some camera reviews. One of the recently introduced new Coolpix digital compact cameras is the Nikon Coolpix L100. This is an entry-level Megazoom with an affordable price-tag. It is completely new for Nikon to introduce this type of camera, with a large optical range, as entry-level camera. The Nikon L100 features 10 effective Megapixels, the famous EXPEED system for digital image processing, and a NIKKOR lens featuring 15x zoom with a range of 28mm wide angle to 420 mm ultra telephoto zoom. Additionally, the Nikon L100 is equipped with an image stabilizer.

Nikon Coolpix P6000 digital camera review : Nikon has enjoyed an enormous boost in popularity over the past year, which most photographers undoubtedly will have noticed. Nikon's digital SLR series is extremely successful, and not only for the professional. Both the entry-level model and the professional D3 have increased sales numbers, and Nikon seems to leap forward once again with the introduction of the Nikon D3x. Canon PowerShot A2000 IS digital camera review : During the last weeks of the summer of 2009, Canon introduced several cameras. The compact camera series also contained a pair of PowerShot A models; the A1000 IS and the A2000 IS. The model we tested, the Canon PowerShot A2000, successor to the A720 IS camera, differentiates itself from the A-Series when it comes to its design, which features more obvious lines. Fujifilm FinePix S2000HD digital camera review : One month before the kick-off of the Photokina show in Cologne, Germany, Fujifilm introduced a number of new digital cameras among which is the FinePix S2000HD. The Fujifilm FinePix S2000HD is a so-called 'hybrid' camera and is Fujifilm's answer to the increasingly popular digital SLR camera. Sigma DP2 photo gallery : In addition to the many interviews, attending various lectures, and receiving the information about (upcoming) product introductions, I went out to take photos with several new digital cameras. One of which is the Sigma DP2 compact camera, and although not a final production model, we are already able to provide you with a number of test photos which were made in Las Vegas with the Sigma DP2. The Sigma DP2 digital camera was first mentioned during the Photokina 2008. At that time, the process of the development of the Sigma DP2 camera was announced. This time, however, during the PMA 2009, it has become clear that Sigma is ready to launch the Sigma DP2 and deliver the new camera to its distributors.
