Pentax K7 review : The DSLR market is dominated by Nikon and Canon and they certainly keep an eye on each other. However, this is something that often proves to have a somewhat negative influence on the creativity of the manufacturers, as it generally means they lose a little bit of their daring. Fortunately however, there are also smaller brands such as Pentax. These smaller brands do not need to worry about whether or not they are number one. Pentax K-7 picture gallery : During my stay in Las Vegas, where I attended the PMA 2009 Imaging Convention and Trade show, there was already talk behind closed doors of a shortly expected Pentax digital SLR camera. The first information we gathered sounded promising, yet it was too early (February 2009) to reveal the news. Internet rumors kept growing however, and three months later, the Pentax K-7 DSLR was finally officially introduced. A DSLR camera from the middle-segment, yet a camera with refined features. The Pentax K7 is a typical SLR for the demanding user. The wealth of advanced functions and user-friendly features in a high- quality housing make the Pentax K-7 a high-end model from the Pentax K-series DSLR cameras.
