Nikon D300s test photos

Dennis Hissink : 2009-12-23 03:50:00
Nikon D300s sample photo gallery posted! Nikon D300s review is in process, both in practice as well as in the DIWA Lab, managed by Kai Thon, Test Manager of DIWA Awards. The Nikon D300s is an enhanced version of the Nikon D300, and in that respect the performance of this SLR camera does not bring any surprises,; in fact, it is a similar camera with an enhanced functionality. The main feature of this further developed Nikon DSLR is the video function, which is a 720p HD video, combined with a faster continuous shooting mode of 7 fps and an extra card slot, which means you can use both CompactFlash and SDHC memory cards at the same time. The first Nikon D300s sample pictures will follow soon after the review.

Nikon D3s review

Dennis Hissink : 2009-10-23 14:15:00
Nikon D3s test : November 2007, Nikon stunned the world of sports photography by introducing a Nikon DSLR offering features such as high ISO performance and an unbelievably accurate AF-precision. This Nikon D3 shook the Pro's world to its foundations, causing a large amount of professional photographers and media agencies to switch from major rival Canon to Nikon only shortly after. And now, two years later, I am holding the very successor to the D3 in my hands, to work with during a European Nikon Event, held in Scotland, St. Andrews. I am talking about the Nikon D3s, Nikon's solution for the sports photographer. A vastly improved SLR camera, thanks to the feedback that came from many professional photographers!

Nikon D3000 review

Dennis Hissink : 2009-10-13 23:50:00
Nikon D3000 SLR camera review : The launch of the Nikon D3000 was inevitable. The arrival of the D5000 had made it clear that the possibility to bring out another model ranked slightly below was still wide open. And that exact space in that particular segment, that of the entry-level digital SLR, has now been filled with the availability of the Nikon D3000. This is also the end of the D60 era, as well as that of the D40x DSLR camera which had already vanished. The Nikon D3000 takes over the position of 'ultimate' entry-level SLR.

Nikon P90 review

Dennis Hissink : 2009-09-12 20:00:00
Nikon Coolpix P90 review : The Nikon P90 is one of the latest mega-zoom cameras from the Coolpix stable. On one hand, the mega-zoom camera finds itself under pressure, mainly due to the appearance of the entry-level digital SLR camera. On the other hand however, this type of camera still has the advantage of a compact size and light weight, combined with a large optical zoom range like the Nikon Coolpix P90 with its 24x zoom. The P90 is the successor to the Coolpix P80 and challenges the megazoom as well as the DSLR cameras, including Nikon's own line of digital SLR cameras.

Nikon D5000 review

Dennis Hissink : 2009-06-08 00:30:00
Nikon D5000 SLR camera test : Digital SLR cameras are driving the current digital camera industry. Whereas compact cameras did this in the last few years, we see this role being taken over by the DSLR. At the time, I remember Nikon vouching for the DSLR camera - they saw themselves having a greater chance to differentiate in this segment than in the compact camera segment. Nikon has proven that it had the right vision. And once again, with the introduction of the new Nikon D5000, Nikon is in the limelight.

Nikon D5000 preview

Dennis Hissink : 2009-04-28 21:21:21
Nikon D5000 digital SLR camera review : For some time, rumor has been floating around that a Nikon digital SLR camera is about to be introduced. The general expectation that Nikon would come with a new DSLR during the last PMA 2009 show in Las Vegas, did not come true. It also seems that the PMA show is no longer considered to be the time of camera introductions. This certainly goes for Nikon, with their very specific introduction rate and timing. In this case, we have already moved into April, the month in which Nikon shows its new D-SLR. The new Nikon D5000 is a digital reflex camera, targeting the hobby or enthusiast amateur photographer. Availability of the Nikon D5000 DSLR camera is expected in May 2009.

Nikon D5000 test photos

Dennis Hissink : 2009-04-15 22:30:00
Nikon D5000 sample photo gallery : A few days ago, we received a full production Nikon D5000 digital SLR camera. We took the first sample pictures and started working on a full Nikon D5000 SLR review. The Nikon D5000 is Nikon's latest digital SLR camera targeting the hobby and amateur photographer. This camera finds itself in between the Nikon D60 and D90 DSLR. It features the latest innovative techniques from both; the D90 and the professional Nikon D3 as well. The 12 Megapixel resolution is excellent for high quality prints and a standard ISO range of 200 - 3200 (expandable to 100 and 64000 ISO) provides shooting in various circumstances. Additionally the Nikon D5000 is able to capture High Definition video clips.

Nikon Coolpix P90 pictures : With the introduction of the Nikon Coolpix P90, the P80 obtained its successor. The Nikon P90 has become the new top model in the extensive range of Nikon Megazoom cameras that we have seen passing by continuously. In spite of the fact the digital SLR camera drops in price every so often, and the market share has been increasing fast, the Megazoom segment remains appealing. Naturally, the compact size in combination with the large optical zoom range is the basis for this success. The technique mostly comes directly from a DSLR and this is also the case for the Nikon P90, for example; the exposure, image processing, and the EXPEED processor. Altogether, it makes the Nikon P90 a powerful combination.
