Nikon 85mm lens review

Mark Peters : 2009-12-27 21:50:00
Nikon 85mm micro lens review : We used the AF-S Micro Nikkor 85mm 1/3.5G ED lens during the testing of a DSLR for a review, and have selected a number of sample pictures from the first batch for publication. The Nikon 85mm Micro lens is a DX type lens aimed at DSLR cameras, such as the Nikon D5000/D3000 and D90. When we received the Nikon AF-S Micro 85mm at our office, only the Nikon D3s was scheduled for a test in practice, which is why the first batch of sample pictures are made with the combination; Nikon D3s + 85mm f/3.5. The new AF-S DX Micro NIKKOR 85mm f/3.5G ED VR is a compact and light-weight macro lens equipped with Nikon's Vibration Reduction system from the second generation, thus providing steady pictures.

Las Vegas pictures taken with Nikon 35mm

Dennis Hissink : 2009-03-03 16:40:00
Las Vegas picture gallery : At the beginning of this year, Nikon introduced a new lens specifically designed for DX format cameras. Yet, thanks to the DX support, it is also possible to use the new AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G in combination with Nikon FX DSLR cameras. During my visit to the PMA in Las Vegas, I took the wide-angle lens along and used it in combination with the Nikon D3x. Two extremes, but with extensive Nikon support for Nikon products mutually, just as we have come to expect from Nikon. The Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G lens provides a maximum aperture of f/1.8 for a nicely blurred background with a very small depth of field. What's more, the length of the lens does not change while focusing.
