Satmap GPS review

Mark Peters : 2009-12-11 22:10:00
Satmap GPS review : Satmap launched its outdoor GPS in 2007. The launch in itself was a good initiative, while there are not that many suppliers for this type of GPS devices, and it is always good to have a bit of a competition. Reading on the Internet about the Active 10, particularly at the time the business was just taking off, we find many complaints, partially correct and partially caused by the greater comfort other devices offer. The latter offer the same options yet come at a lower price. Gradually through time, the tone of the comments has changed, although this did require several updates and a price cut. Nowadays, more enthusiastic stories can be found, since the Satmap GPS clearly also has its strong points.

Mark Peters : 2009-10-29 22:50:00
Google GPS navigation devices to enter the market soon! : Garmin and TomTom had better beware now that Google focuses on developing its own Google navigation. Google is likely to expand its existing Google Maps application with its own navigation software. It is more than likely that this mobile navigation application will be available for free. Google has already been investing in Maps for several years, and besides that, it provides Google Latitude; a relatively new service to locate GPS individuals on Maps. In combination with Google Ads, Google navigation is bound to become a big business success!

Garmin Nuvi review

Ilse Jurriën : 2009-09-08 18:30:00
Garmin Nuvi review at LetsGoMobile : GPS handheld devices provide the rambler with a lot of useful information. Also in the field of geo-caching, a number of interesting developments have taken place over the last few years. One of the applications of such devices is auto navigation. When I was asked to review the Garmin Nuvi 1240, one of the easiest car navigation models available, I expected to be done fairly quickly. However, this seemingly simple navigation system proves to have a lot more to offer, in order to make traveling to unknown destinations a lot easier.

Garmin Edge review

Ilse Jurriën : 2009-06-04 10:40:00
Garmin Edge review at LetsGoMobile : This time I am reviewing a device made for the serious cyclist; the Garmin Edge 705 HR. The many possibilities of this advanced bike computer specifically target this group. Navigation software can also be used, however; that is not the core value of this device. The Garmin Edge is a training device, supporting training sessions. Not only in its ability to register performance like speed, distance and heart rate, but also to plan workouts.
