Samsung Eco-Friendly LCD Monitors : Samsung Electronics, manufacturer of LCD display products, announced the release of its Samsung 70 Series Monitors: the Samsung P2070, P2370 and Samsung P2370HD. These slim LCD monitors, with screen depths of 30 mm (1.18 inches) for the Samsung P2070 and P2370 and 65.5mm (2.58 inches) for the Samsung P2370HD and Touch of Color design, are the latest release of Samsung’s LCD displays. “The 70 Series offers our customers a sophisticated-looking LCD monitor with the performance capability of our televisions,” said J.H. Kim, President of Samsung Electronics. “The 70 Series is the new standard as more people upgrade their monitors for additional uses, like watching television and playing video games.”

JVC HD LCD TV : Establishing a new category in flat panel TV design, JVC announced an LCD TV system that includes a super slim v that features a color space that is wider than a typical HDTV’s. The new JVC LT-42WX70 LCD monitor is a 42-inch class full HD LCD TV monitor that targets digital imaging professionals and enthusiasts using high-end digital SLR cameras, allowing them for the first time to see the subtle colors, details and textures of their images faithfully reproduced. The JVC HD LCD TV monitor features expanded color space capacity encompassing 100 percent of HDTV broadcasting’s (sRGB.904) color space and a coverage rate of 96 percent for Adobe RGB to provide accurate reproduction of both video and still photographs.
