New Canon SLR camera will feature Hybrid Image Stabilizer : Canon announced the development of Hybrid Image Stabilizer (IS), the world's first optical image stabilization technology that compensates for both angle camera shake and shift camera shake. The new Canon camera hybrid shake technology will be featured in interchangeable single lens reflex (SLR) camera lens planned for commercial release before the end of 2009. Several different preventative methods and corrective procedures have been introduced to compensate for errors caused by camera shake, which occurs when a SLR camera moves while its shutter is open and its image sensor is exposed to light. The new technology will be used in future DSLR cameras.

Bluetooth 3.0 Technology

Bluetooth Technology 3.0 : From its annual All Hands Meeting in Tokyo this week, the Bluetooth SIG formally adopted Bluetooth Core Specification Version 3.0 + High Speed (HS), or Bluetooth 3.0. This latest iteration of the short-range wireless technology fulfills the consumers’ need for speed while providing the same wireless Bluetooth experience - faster. Manufacturers of consumer electronics and home entertainment devices can now build their products to send large amounts of video, music and photos between devices wirelessly at speeds consumers expect. Bluetooth 3.0 gets its speed from the 802.11 radio protocol. The inclusion of the 802.11 Protocol Adaptation Layer provides increased throughput of data transfers rates of 24 Mbps.

Sony Cyber-Shot Sweep panorama photo mode technology : Sony is spotlighting its first digital still camera to feature sweep panorama technology here at the Photo Marketing Association confab. The new Sony CyberShot DSC-HX1 digital camera can take 224-degree panorama photos in one easy press-and-sweep motion. Capturing wide landscapes, church spires or skyscrapers is as easy as “press and sweep.” The Sony Sweep panorama photo mode lets you reach beyond the traditional wide-angle lens and capture breathtaking shots. With wide and ultra-wide settings and horizontal or vertical directions, sweep panorama photo mode can take up to 224-degree horizontal or 154-degree vertical shots.

Fujifilm 3D camera

Mark Peters : 2009-03-07 00:24:00
Fujifilm 3D digital camera showcased at PMA 2009 Show : Fujifilm took a prototype of a 3D camera along to the PMA show 2009 in Las Vegas. In addition to a pair of concept 3D cameras we saw before at the Photokina 2008, a plastic bold; unfortunately with annoying reflection, held a new prototype 3D camera. Perhaps already a functioning model, since the LEDs of the camera were shown activated. The Fujifilm 3D imaging concept is a full system of a digital camera, printer and display, and is a very interesting branch of photography. However, even now, I can't imagine it becoming a product for the masses, but it certainly seems to become a nice accessory.
