Google Nexus smartphone

Ilse Jurriën : 2009-12-27 12:15:00
Google Nexus One mobile phone : Slowly but surely the attention seems to be completely focused on the pair of manufacturers: Apple and Google. Apple, a relative newcomer, but immediately impressive with their iPhone, and Google, is finally going to make the rumors come to an end with the introduction of the first true Google phone. The Nexus One, that we are all expecting, should appear in the first quarter of 2010. The rumors have been making the rounds for a while, but the pieces of the puzzles did not fit together enough to make a complete picture. The continual innovation with which Google is thinking ahead, together with the already popular Android, Google’s OS, it seems that Google Nexus One will soon be a reality.

Google Android Handset to be released soon? : A Google phone; it sounds so logical that it is in fact odd a phone with this name does not yet officially exist. On the other hand, Google has always insisted that software and related services are its core business, and has claimed it simply does not see launching a Google phone onto the market as a valid option. However, rumors are growing stronger by the minute, and the most recent information seems to point more and more towards an imminent introduction of the first Google mobile phone. This phone, if it indeed appears, will be launched onto the market under the Google brand name, and according to the latest information, this is supposed to happen around the summer of 2010.

ZiiLabs working on advanced Android Smartphone : Google has found yet another goose that lays the golden eggs, or at least it is starting to look like that for Android. Manufactures are more than eager to jump on the Android train in order to not miss out. During the last few weeks, quite a number of Android smartphones have either been introduced or leaked through non-official channels, and it looks like we are about to see another one. ZiiLabs, part of the renowned Creative Technology, and designer of the striking ZiiEgg, is now going to use the Android software platform to dive into mobile telephony and with that thought in mind, it seems only a matter of time before we will get to see a Zii Android smartphone or a ZiiEgg smartpho

Android software beats Windows Mobile

Mark Peters : 2009-11-17 18:15:00
Google Android OS software beats Windows Mobile OS : Is the end of Windows Mobile in sight? That would be quite a strong statement at the offset. However, when we look at the sales figures that Windows Mobile smartphones achieve compared to the competition, things do not seem to be looking up for Microsoft. According to research, market growth is about 13%, while smartphone sales figures with the Windows Mobile operating system have plummeted. There are at least 20% less smartphones with the Windows Mobile operating system the market, while this is obviously a growing market. This is a result that generally speaking would make any healthy entrepreneur undertake measures.

Google Android OS

Mark Peters : 2009-11-13 20:45:00
Google Android operating system : As an enthusiastic consumer you have just figured out that the next cell phone that you will purchase should come equipped with Google Android. So now you decide to leave your lazy internet chair to go and have a look in the telecom shop around the corner. Just by poking around, you already noticed that Android is not just Android, but that there’s Google Android 2.0, Android 1.5, or was it Android 1.6? And more questions come up: Are all Android phones equipped with a multi-touch function, or does that depend on the telephone manufacturer? Now you realize that things are not getting any clearer. One thing is for sure: Google Android OS is hot!

Google GPS navigation

Mark Peters : 2009-10-29 22:50:00
Google GPS navigation devices to enter the market soon! : Garmin and TomTom had better beware now that Google focuses on developing its own Google navigation. Google is likely to expand its existing Google Maps application with its own navigation software. It is more than likely that this mobile navigation application will be available for free. The shareholders club of recognized GPS navigation manufacturers will certainly not be amused, to put it mildly. Google has already been investing in Maps for several years, and besides that, it provides Google Latitude; a relatively new service to locate GPS individuals on Maps. In combination with Google Ads, Google navigation is bound to become a big business success!
