SanDisk Netbook memory cards : SanDisk announced the Netbook SDHC removable flash memory card, offering consumers an easy and affordable way to increase netbook storage capacity. Consumers can insert the Netbook SDHC card into a netbook’s card slot to add capacity instantly. This news expands upon the previously announced next-generation SanDisk pSSD products, which serve as drop-in replacements for hard disk drives in netbooks. The SanDisk Netbook card gives consumers the ability to increase the netbook’s storage capacity by 8 or 16GB, doubling the storage space offered in most solid-state drive powered netbook models. The card resides within the netbook, which decreases the risk of it being damaged while the netbook is moved.

Pretec 100GB CompactFlash type 2 memory card at PMA 2009 : Pretec, known to always be around at every consumer electronics show, brought a collection of obscure memory cards along, among which is a 100GB CompactFlash type II memory card. It so happened that I use a Nikon D3x digital SLR during photographing at the PMA 2009 in Las Vegas, and I was very curious to see if this 100GB CF working sample would function well in Nikon's flagship. Formatting was not the problem; however, the Nikon D3x camera doesn't like it at all. On its display, everything that is not supposed to blink, is blinking and I decide that this card will have to go without the D3x.
