Panasonic photo contest : Panasonic LUMIX Award celebrates the theme of "The Living Planet". Panasonic Marketing Europe announced the success of its online LUMIX Award digital photo contest for 2008/2009. Closing date of this exciting and popular digital still photography competition is 31 March 2009, whereupon a grand prize and two-runner ups will be selected. First set up in 2002, the LUMIX Award is a European-wide online competition celebrating creativity in digital photography by establishing an interactive platform for digital photographers to share their work with each other and a panel of professional creative directors/photographers.
