Canon EOS-1Ds Mark 4

Mark Peters : 2009-10-27 17:20:00
Canon EOS-1Ds Mark IV digital SLR camera : According to 'EOS' logics, there should be a new Canon EOS-1Ds Mark IV camera in the pipeline. The electronic ink of the Canon 1D Mark IV camera introduction article has not yet dried, but speculations about a Canon 1Ds Mark 4 DSLR camera are already flooding the Internet. The presumed introduction date is the Photokina 2010. The Photokina is a worldwide imaging event held annually in Cologne, Germany. Should this be the case, then the gap between the Canon EOS 1Ds Mark IV and its predecessor would be a little over 2 years On the other hand, there's one thing that continues to linger in the back of our minds; the fact that there was rumor about 'the last EOS' or even; 'no more EOS'.

Canon photo software

Ilse Jurriën : 2009-10-25 21:45:00
Canon photo software suite : Canon announce that its Pixma All-In-One and Photo Printer ranges come bundled with a smart software suite that includes Easy-PhotoPrint EX and Easy-WebPrint EX - two applications that make it easy to produce great-looking documents and photos. Canon’s Pixma All-In-Ones are also bundled with MP Navigator EX -a program that enables anyone to easily scan, copy and file a wide variety of documents. As well offering print options such as paper type, selection and size, Canon Easy-PhotoPrint EX delivers plenty of creative options to Pixma owners, including the ability to produce borderless photos, albums, calendars and even photo stickers. Mons and Hagen owners can also use the application to print directly onto inkjet-compatible CD-R and DVD media.

Canon PowerShot SX20 IS gallery : The 90th anniversary of KLM is the central focus during the open days of KLM (Dutch Airline). During this event, we used the Canon PowerShot SX20 IS to capture quite a few locations of the KLM area. The Canon PowerShot SX20 IS is the next generation of Canon Megazoom cameras and features a 20x wide-angle zoom lens and a 2.5-inch vari-angle LCD monitor. In addition, the Canon PowerShot SX20 IS can be set completely manually, and allows the filming enthusiast to capture video clips in 720p HD video resolution. The Canon PowerShot camera is equipped with a 12.1 megapixel image sensor and is supported by a powerful DIGIC 4 processor. Naturally, the camera does also come with an optical Image Stabilizer.

Canon camera reviews : IXUS 200 IS

Dennis Hissink : 2009-10-04 14:15:00
Canon IXUS 200 IS camera review : Canon aptly participates in the Megapixel race with the IXUS 200 IS. The small compact cameras already feature an extremely tiny image sensor, and to apply it with no less than 12 million pixels seems to be a contradiction. However, not as far as marketing is concerned; they seem all too happy to see high resolution figures pass by. Still, Canon is showing slight traces of change, although this does not (yet) apply to the Canon Digital IXUS 200 IS camera, but, who knows? Perhaps the next generation of IXUS cameras will await the same fate.

Canon EOS 7D preview

Dennis Hissink : 2009-09-06 14:00:00
Canon EOS 7D SLR camera review : For several years now, there have been rumors about a possible Canon EOS 7D introduction. Most of these were based on fiction; however, recently it became clear that certain features could very well become reality. We were offered the opportunity, even before the official introduction, to get acquainted with a new EOS DSLR camera, which indeed turned out to be the Canon EOS 7D. 18 Megapixel CMOS, two DIGIC-4 processors, an entirely redesigned AF system, 100% viewfinder with 1.0x magnification, improved Movie function, and a new LCD monitor, are just a few of the many enhancements and improvements of the Canon 7D camera. The first Canon EOS 7D camera delivery is expected in September.

Dennis Hissink : 2009-09-02 17:41:00
Canon Digital IXUS 200 IS gallery : The Canon Digital IXUS 200 IS camera is the latest model in the IXUS 2009 line. The Canon IXUS camera design has undergone several metamorphoses in the past, yet the base has always remained the same; a rectangle (housing) with a circle (lens) in it. The priority of an IXUS lies on a stylish and outstanding design, although the user-friendliness is equally important. The Canon IXUS 200 IS camera is Canon’s first compact camera to provide a touchscreen operation. Whereas the competition has already been applying the phenomenon of a touchscreen, Canon felt that the technique would not yet work optimally for a camera. Our first experience with the touchscreen of the IXUS 200 IS is a positive one.
