Apple iPhone operating software version 3.0 : Apple previewed its iPhone OS 3.0 software and announced the availability of a beta software release to registered developers. The iPhone beta software release includes an updated Software Development Kit with over 1000 new Application Programming Interfaces including In-App Purchases; Peer-to-Peer connections; an app interface for accessories; access to the Apple iPod music library; a new Maps API and Push Notifications. “The new iPhone operating software is a major software release packed with new features and innovations for iPhone customers and developers alike. It will keep us years ahead of the competition,” said Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Product Marketing.


New iPod shuffle

New Apple iPod shuffle : Apple introduced the new iPod shuffle, the world’s smallest music player at nearly half of the size of the previous iPod model, and the first music player that talks to you. The new Voice Over feature enables iPod shuffle to speak your song titles, artists and playlist names. The third generation iPod shuffle is significantly smaller than a AA battery, holds up to 1000 songs and is easier to use with all of the controls conveniently located on the earphone cord. With the press of a button, you can play, pause, adjust volume, switch playlists and hear the name of the song and artist. iPod shuffle features a new aluminium design with a built-in stainless steel clip that makes it wearable.

New Apple Mac Pro announced : Apple introduced the new Mac Pro using Intel “Nehalem” Xeon processors and a next-generation system architecture to deliver up to twice the performance of the previous generation system. The new Mac Pro starts at $2,499 and features the latest graphics technology and an updated interior that makes expansion even easier than before. An optional ATI Radeon HD 4870 is available for even more performance. With both a Mini DisplayPort and DVI port, the new Mac Pro provides out-of-the-box support for the 24-inch Apple LED Cinema Display, the 30-inch Apple Cinema HD Display, or other DVI based displays.
