New iPhone?

Mark Peters : 2009-11-11 12:30:00
New Apple iPhone to see daylight around Christmas? : Apple is booming: whether it's an iPod MP3 player or an iMac computer, each Apple product is bit mystical. Such is the Apple iPhone, which is in fact just a regular cell phone. Only the rumor that they are working on a basic model iPhone, the iPhone 3Gs 8GB, is stirring things up again. It must be the fault of the Android mobile phone, which is coming from a manufacturer whose existence often appears to be hanging on a thin thread. The Motorola MILESTONE Android phone, or otherwise known as the Motorola DROID, could create fierce competition, especially in the lowest segment of today’s mobile phone market.

For those not familiar with RFID; this is a technology to store and read information from a distance of so-called RFID tags, which are found in or on objects. In practice, you come across these on a daily base in the form of detection gates in shops. But why would an Apple iPhone 4G be equipped with RFID, and what could a possible functionality of RFID be?

With each and every day, the rumors about a new Apple product being launched soon seem to become stronger; the Apple Tablet. Undoubtedly Apple's refined touch technology will be integrated in the Apple Tablet. The goal of the NY times meeting was a presentation about the future of the New York Times as a newspaper in the digital era. And Apple seems to be involved in this.
