Sony 16GB Memory Stick PRO Duo : Sony Europe’s Recording Media & Energy (RME) division announced the expansion of its high-definition recording options with the introduction of 16GB Memory Stick PRO Duo media. The Sony Memory Stick PRO Duo large-capacity flash storage device is ideal for Sony’s new Handycam camcorders based on AVCHD technology as well as the latest high-resolution Sony cameras (Cyber-shot & Alpha digital SLR cameras). Users can store up to 110 minutes of high-definition video recorded in 1920 mode, almost 6 hours of HD video when shooting in 1440 LP mode, and more than 4000 still pictures in 10 Megapixel resolution. The Sony 16GB Memory Stick PRO Duo media will be available in March 2008.
