Ricoh G600 : Ricoh has launched the Ricoh G600, a new water and dust-resistant digital camera which will now be available along with the popular Caplio 500G Wide (launched in May 2006). The Ricoh G600 is smaller and lighter yet it still passes Ricoh‘s shock resistance test for a 1.5 m fall, a test that conforms to US Department of Defense standards. In addition to the 5x optical wide-angle zoom lens (equivalent to 28-140 mm for a 35 mm camera), the Ricoh G600 continues to provide the same strong set of features as previous models, such as a 1 cm macro function and a flash range of 10 m. It is perfect for customers who want to take pictures in a variety of outdoor activities, such as marine sports, mountain climbing, and fishing.

Ricoh R8 : Ricoh has developed and introduced the new Ricoh R8 compact digital camera featuring a 7.1x optical wide-angle zoom lens (28–200 mm in 35 mm focal length) and a new high-resolution 10 Megapixel CCD. The Ricoh R8 is the successor model to the Caplio R7 (launched September 14, 2007), which also had a slim body and 7.1x optical wide-angle zoom lens (28-200 mm in 35 mm focal length). By combining a 10 megapixel CCD with the earlier model‘s Smooth Imaging Engine III image processing engine, the Ricoh R8 takes high-definition photography to a higher level. The available colours are silver, black and two tone. The Ricoh R8 is available in March 2008 at £ 249,99 inc vat. Note that from now on the name Caplio is out of the picture.

Ricoh R50 : Ricoh got rid of the name Caplio and unveiled the first camera without the Caplio sticker. Ricoh announced the release of a compact camera - the Ricoh R50 - that features a 10 megapixel CCD, a 5x optical zoom (36 mm - 180 mm in 35 mm camera format) and pays particular attention to portability. The new Ricoh R50 is a digital camera with a compact body that measures 97.3 (W)×56.3 (H)×23.4 (D) mm and makes it easy to carry. This user-friendly camera features scene functions that can be used in a wide variety of shooting conditions, enabling anyone to easily take beautiful images. It is equipped with 15 differing scene functions such as a sports function which captures the split-second movement of a fast-moving subject.
