Fujifilm FinePix photo gallery

Dennis Hissink : 2008-12-22 22:00:00
Fujifilm FinePix S2000HD photo gallery : In august of this year, Fujifilm introduced a new Megazoom camera; the Fujifilm FinePix S2000HD. A 10 Megapixel camera featuring a 15x optical zoom lens, and Fujifilm’s first model that supports High Definition. Zoom range starts at 28mm, delivering an effective wide angle for both landscape pictures and group pictures. The Fujifilm S2000HD has a rather sturdy build yet a light weight, although not sufficiently compact to carry with you in your inner pocket or trouser pocket. Fujifilm depends on its Megazoom cameras, since their assortment lacks an entry-level digital SLR camera. The FinePix S2000HD does not surprise and is a logical continuation of Fujifilm’s series of Megazoom cameras.

Fujifilm FinePix S100FS review

Dennis Hissink : 2008-10-26 20:30:00
Fujifilm S100fs review : Fujifilm enters the battlefield with the Fujifilm S100fs, a camera that has by now received a number of awards. Striking detail on the S100fs is the image sensor being quite large. Naturally, this is a Super CCD of already the eighth generation. The 11.1 Megapixel on the Super CCD VIII HR are being processed by a new RP (Real Photo) III processor. A special feature is the dynamic range that can be increased to 400%, or 2 stops. The Fujifilm FinePix S100fs is the first camera besides the S5Pro digital SLR offering this functionality. In addition, and also retrieved from the reflex is film simulation; the fs behind the type number indicate this.

Fujifilm Finepix cameras at Photokina 2008

Ilse Jurriën : 2008-10-01 20:30:00
Fujifilm Finepix digital cameras at Photokina 2008 : If anything became clear at the Photokina 2008, it was the fact that the compact camera desperately needs an innovative boost. There was hardly any news on the field of compact cameras at this world event, it were the advanced digital cameras, D-SLR cameras that surprised us and, of course, the Micro FourThirds System. Even Fujifilm didn’t have a lot to offer, whereas in the past they have always introduced some interesting compact cameras during events like the Photokina, except for a few a FinePix camera models that were introduced the beginning of August. The assortment looks too familiar; there is more of the same stuff.

Fujifilm 3D photography

Mark Peters : 2008-09-22 16:40:00
Fujifilm 3D real image system : Fujifilm announces a radical departure from current imaging systems with the development of a completely new, real image system (3D digital camera, 3D digital photo frame, 3D print) that marks a complete break from previous attempts to introduce this technology. The arrival of digital photography over a decade ago opened up so many new ways of enjoying images, not only through capture, but also through manipulation, printing and display. Sales of digital cameras, and other devices like camera phones or webcams have raced ahead of what experts had expected because of the sheer scope of what has become possible in digital imaging.

Fujifilm Super CCD EXR

Mark Peters : 2008-09-22 16:33:21
Fujifilm CCD EXR image sensor : There is strong demand in the digital camera market to increase the number of pixels on a sensor, which, all too often, is used as a convenient yardstick for image quality. While introducing excellent 12-megapixel digital cameras such as the Fujifilm FinePix F50fd and the Fuji FinePix F100fd, Fujifilm has had great success in increasing pixel density while at the same time controlling noise and optimising sensitivity. Fujifilm's campaign to improve overall image quality, while at the same time increasing sensor resolution, has been coordinated under the program of 'Real Photo Technology.'

Fujifilm S100FS receives EISA Award

Mark Peters : 2008-08-18 20:47:57
Fujifilm FinePix S100FS receives Award : Fujifilm is delighted to announce that the TIPA award-winning Fujifilm FinePix S100FS bridge camera has been bestowed the ‘European Superzoom Camera of the Year 2008-2009’ Award by judges at the esteemed European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA), the largest editorial multimedia organization in Europe. EISA judges were particularly impressed with the amount of technology offered at such a competitive price point. Commenting about the award, the EISA jury said: “The Fujifilm S100FS is a true alternative to a DSLR camera fitted with a super zoom lens. Though hardly a compact camera, it sports a relatively compact and fast wide angle to super-telephoto 14.3x zoom lens of very high quality.
