Fujifilm FinePix S2000hd : Well someone at Fujifilm Canada triggered that button too soon, but since the whole world is reporting about a series of possible upcoming products of Fujifilm and at Fujifilm no one seems to bother to give some proper information we go ahead with the rest. One of the leaked FinePix cameras is the Fujifilm FinePix S2000hd. At first glance and looking at the specifications the Fujifilm S2000hd is a Megazoom camera with a 14.7x optical zoom range (28-414 mm equiv. 35 mm camera), improved Face Detection system and, of course, HD (High Definition) mode to capture MPEG-4 16:9 movies in 1920x1080 resolution. More information about availability and pricing will follow as soon as possible.


Sanyo Xacti DMX-HD800

Sanyo DMX-HD800 : Sanyo announces the DMX-HD800, a new sleek, slim high definition dual camera Xacti that can take both stills and videos. The Sanyo Xacti HD800 camera sports a compact and light-weight body, and easily saves data onto SD/SDHC memory cards for convenience. The Sanyo DMX-HD800 will take stills and videos used on a personal computer or for the Web, houses a new three-dimensional digital noise reduction (3DDNR) filter, and adds the ‘Face Chaser’ for both stills and videos with an active scanner visible on the monitor. This new, stylish digital movie camera, the Sanyo Xacti DMX-HD800, will be sold in Japan starting from August 22, 2008. If or when the new Sanyo HD800 dual camera will be sold outside of Japan is unknown.
