BenQ DC-E800 : BenQ announced the launch of their latest digital camera, the 8 Megapixel BenQ E800 featuring a 2.7-inch display, 3x optical zoom and ISO 1600. Ricoh G600 : Ricoh has launched the Ricoh G600, a new water and dust-resistant digital camera which will now be available along with the popular Caplio 500G Wide (launched in May 2006). The Ricoh G600 is smaller and lighter yet it still passes Ricoh‘s shock resistance test for a 1.5 m fall, a test that conforms to US Department of Defense standards. In addition to the 5x optical wide-angle zoom lens (equivalent to 28-140 mm for a 35 mm camera), the Ricoh G600 continues to provide the same strong set of features as previous models, such as a 1 cm macro function and a flash range of 10 m. It is perfect for customers who want to take pictures in a variety of outdoor activities, such as marine sports, mountain climbing, and fishing.

Sanyo Xacti DMX-CA8 : Sanyo announces its next Xacti digital movie camera designed for people with active lifestyles - the Sanyo DMX-CA8. The camera is not only waterproof, fully compatible with most active lifestyles, but also added are higher resolution photographs up to 8 megapixels and a new ‘Face Chaser’ function for movies in addition to the existing ‘Face Chaser’ function for photos. The Sanyo Xacti DMX-CA8 will be on sale in Japan from mid-May 2008. Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ50 : Panasonic introduced a new addition to its award-winning TZ-family of digital cameras, the Panasonic LUMIX DMC-TZ50, complete with Wi-Fi capabilities, standard 802.11b/g wireless LAN connectivity and access to T-Mobile HotSpot service, users can upload digital photos taken with the Panasonic TZ50 directly to Picasa Web Albums, a free online photo-sharing service from Google. The 9.1 megapixel Panasonic Lumix TZ50 is packed with a 28mm wide-angle lens, 10x optical zoom and the ability to record HD video, making it the ideal digital camera for active users.
