Kodak EasyShare C713 : It seems kind of tradition but again we inform you about a Kodak EasyShare camera that slipped through our news filter, I guess. According to Kodak the Kodak EasyShare C713 features a Kodak AF 3X Optical Aspheric Zoom Lens (35 mm equivalent: 36–108 mm) that captures crisp details and gets you closer to your subjects without losing picture quality. 5x digital zoom enlarges your pictures even more. The Kodak C713 offers 7.0 Megapixels for prints up to 20 x 30 in. (50 x 76 cm). And still no optical stabilization for Kodak’s entry level camera. The Kodak EasyShare C713 incorporates digital image stabilization. Blur caused by camera shake or subject movement will be reduced by this feature.

In addition to the 5x optical wide-angle zoom lens (equivalent to 28-140 mm for a 35 mm camera), the Ricoh G600 continues to provide the same strong set of features as previous models, such as a 1 cm macro function and a flash range of 10 m. Sanyo Xacti DMX-CA8 : Sanyo announces its next Xacti digital movie camera designed for people with active lifestyles - the Sanyo DMX-CA8. The camera is not only waterproof, fully compatible with most active lifestyles, but also added are higher resolution photographs up to 8 megapixels and a new ‘Face Chaser’ function for movies in addition to the existing ‘Face Chaser’ function for photos. The Sanyo Xacti DMX-CA8 will be on sale in Japan from mid-May 2008. In his presentation at the launch, Hideki Toyoda, General Manager of the Sanyo’s DI Company Products Planning Department, said, “Last year, Sanyo brought a digital movie camera to the market that was waterproof and changed the way that people use digital movie cameras.
