Casio Exilim cameras at Photokina 2008

Ilse Jurriën : 2008-10-01 22:40:00
Casio Exilim digital cameras at Photokina 2008 : The Casio booth was a bit on the large side for the disappointing amount of visitors that arrived. The current EXILIM compact camera line does not stand out too much, apart from two exceptions. Two cameras are able to attract the attention; the Casio EXILIM Pro F1 and the recently introduced Casio EXILIM FH20. Both models offer a unique feature that makes them stand out from the crowd; and that feature is speed. The pair of them are true racing monsters and therefore all options are present to capture fast action moments right there and then at the Casio booth. Visitors of the Casio booth were invited to try and surpass the record distance (making the golf ball travel a distance as long as possible through an electronic golf club.)

Casio Exilim EX-F1 review

Dennis Hissink : 2008-06-30 14:30:00
Casio Exilim EX-F1 : Casio have been active on the digital camera market for several years now. Although the majority of the people know Casio because of their watches and pocket calculators, many are unaware of the fact that Casio is a real pioneer in the camera world. When the camera market started to rise, Casio were the first to introduce a consumer digital camera; the Casio QV10, which set the ball rolling. Surprisingly enough it took quite a while before renowned photo manufactures caught up. Casio Exilim Pro EX-F1 : During the Casio press event, held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, in Borchland centre of Golfclub Amstelborgh, Casio offered the possibility of taking pictures with the brand-new Casio Exilim Pro EX-F1 digital camera. And no; it wasn’t a pre-production model; Casio presented the first full production models of this camera worldwide.
