Canon HV30

Nic Rossmüller : 2008-01-09 00:02:00
Canon HV30 : Canon adds a new star to its HD camcorder range with the launch of the Canon HD Camcorder HV30. Building on the success of the HV20 - named Camcorder of the Year for 2007 - the Canon HV30 improves on its predecessor with a host of refinements that make it easier to use. Recording HDV1080i images directly to MiniDV tape, the Canon HV30 introduces a Multi-angle Vivid LCD screen with a 135-degree angle of view - keeping the image clearly visible when shooting above or below eye level. Housed in a sleek black chassis, the HV30 is compatible with Canon’s high capacity BP-2L24H battery pack, which offers up to four hours of continuous shooting on a single charge. The camcorder retains the acclaimed Canon HD Camera System.

Nic Rossmüller : 2008-01-09 00:01:10
Canon MD215 : Canon launches the new MD215 MiniDV camcorder that introduces Canon’s new, powerful Advanced Zoom. Advanced Zoom combines the quality of a genuine Canon video lens with the power of the DIGIC DV processor, resulting in zoom ranges that extend as high as 45x magnification. The Canon MD215 offers true widescreen recording, easy and intuitive operation, and the advantage of Canon’s Quick Start feature. “The new MD200 series camcorders bring affordable, high quality home moviemaking to even more consumers,” said Mogens Jensen, Head of Canon Consumer Imaging Europe. “Easy to use and small enough to take anywhere, this new range of MiniDV models is the perfect way for anyone to catch the moviemaking bug.”

Canon HF100

Nic Rossmüller : 2008-01-09 00:01:00
Canon HF100 : Canon expands its award-winning High Definition (HD) camcorder range with the announcement of a groundbreaking flash memory-based model. The compact Canon HD Camcorder HF100 will thrill creative moviemakers who want maximum mobility and the chance to shoot High Definition footage in challenging new environments. The Canon HF100 offers the convenience of shooting straight to memory card. Flash Memory allows the Canon HF100 to offer a range of benefits compared to camcorders based on other media: like Hard Disk Drives (HDD), the camcorder provides extended recording times; but it is more compact than DVD camcorders; and it provides superb image quality, comparable with the standard set by High Definition Video (HDV).

Canon DC301

Nic Rossmüller : 2008-01-09 00:00:00
Canon DC301 : Canon announces the launch of a new direct-to-DVD camcorder featuring its Advanced Zoom system. The Canon DC301 combines the ultra-convenience of straight-to-DVD recording with the most powerful zoom - up to 45x - of any Canon camcorder yet. Providing crisp, clear image quality - from wide to telephoto - Advanced Zoom opens up new possibilities for moviemakers shooting sports, wildlife and other distant subjects straight to disc. Since the majority of TVs on sale today are native widescreen, the Canon DC301 is equipped for True Wide 16:9 recording. Compatibility with DVD Dual Layer (DVD-R DL) media and Canon’s high capacity battery pack extends recording time, allowing every moviemaker to capture that extra shot.
