Featuring Full HD and a1080p mode with 25 frames-per-second recording capability, the Samsung HMX20C’s flash-based design makes this camcorder compact and easy-to-use. A 2.4 second power on time makes it easier to catch the action in time and, with an included docking cradle, users will find it simple to not only charge the HMX20C, but also to utilize the HDMI input and component connectivity to easily view and share home movies directly on an HDTV or via USB connection to PC.

"The Samsung HMX20C offers consumers the ability to record their precious memories in full 1920x1080p HD quality. In addition, the flash memory offers quick start-up, great battery life and can be used to shoot HD video footage in any situation," said Alex Chung, director - sales & marketing, consumer electronics, Samsung Electronics H.K. Co. Ltd. "This is the next-generation camcorder engineered for people who want to capture more vivid memories for longer time and share them on multimedia devices and the internet. Leveraging Samsung’s advanced technology; consumers can keep more of their memories with ease and in beautiful Full-HD quality."

Samsung HXM 20C multifunctional HD camcorder
The Samsung HMX20C’s outstanding performance is the result of advanced design coupled with innovative technologies in HD recording. The Samsung HMX20C features a 6.4-megapixel CMOS with electronic image stabilization so even action-packed scenes come through with clarity. This multifunctional HD camcorder also delivers among the best still-camera functionality on the market - up to eight megapixels through pixel-rising technology. With 2.7” Touch LCD, HMX20C’s Touch Point Focus enables users to touch the LCD screen on the picture subject they would like to focus on. Additionally, a Dual Recording function allows users to take unlimited 2.1 megapixels photographs while recording video.

8GB Samsung HXM20C camcorder
With the unique feature of high speed capture and super slow motion playback, the Samsung HMX20C also allows users to record fast motion at 300 frames per second for up to 10 seconds and then drastically slow down the playback of the recording. The 8GB of built-in flash memory of Samsung HMX20C helps ensure that nothing is lost for lack of space and users also have the option of recording onto high-capacity SDHC/MMC+ cards via the additional card slot.

Samsung MX20 incorporates H.264 technology
The Samsung MX20 comes with H.264 technology, which enhances its record times significantly. In the “fine” mode, Samsung’s MX20 camcorder can record up to 6 hours using a 8GB card. Samsung’s H.264 technology also more than doubles the compression ratio so that it takes less time to send video files via email or upload them onto the internet. The Samsung MX20 also features a unique shooting mode that allows users to select a resolution and format that’s ideal for uploading contents to YouTube or multi-media devices. By selecting the Web & Mobile mode, the camcorder’s resolution is automatically adjusted to 640x480 (H.264 / AAC / MP4) and optimized for use on web sites. Unlike other camcorders, users can easily import the video and play it on the MP3 players and PMPs supporting H.264 - without having to transcode the files.

Interval Recording mode on the Samsung MX20
With a 680K CCD, a 34x optical zoom and a prestigious Schneider lens, the Samsung MX20 is designed for budding film makers. It’s also bulit for the road: with 10 automatic scene modes, the iScene feature ensures quality footage is captured no matter what the surrounding environment throws at the user. The Samsung MX20 also features Interval Recording, allowing users to capture a frame at particular time interval which they set. And, with three hours of battery life, it’s easy to keep rolling and catch those magic moments as they happen.

MX20

Compact, stylish and easy to use Samsung camcorders
Moreover, the SC-HMX20C and SC-MX20 fit easily into the palm for quick-and-easy shooting. For further convenience, Samsung’s proprietary swivel hand-grip enables the newly launched camcorders to record from multiple angles, including regular and hard-to-reach low angle shots, while the 2.7-inch wide-aspect LCD makes editing on the fly easy. Additionally, the Samsung HMX20C and Samsung MX20 offer useful iCheck mode. iCheck allows the user to quickly check remaining battery life and memory capacity without wasting time and energy by powering on. Both models also support Samsung’s Face Dectection technology. This innovative feature automatically detects up to 12 faces within a frame and adjusts focus and exposure to make sure that the subjects are in the best possible light. Finally, Samsung has designed the HMX20C and MX20 to be both stylish and ergonomically correct. Their design utilizes trends seen in the fashion and car industries, resulting in a camcorder that’s as elegant as it is practical.
