Carl Zeiss at photokina 2008 : Carl Zeiss presents itself with a new exhibition concept for the Photokina 2008 trade fair in Cologne, Germany. Products, applications and the ZEISS brand can be experienced by the interested visitors. The full range of Carl Zeiss lenses and cameras is presented to visitors around an impressive ‘application lagoon’. The lagoon provides a wide variety of subjects, giving visitors the opportunity to try out different focal lengths and settings while giving free rein to their creativity in line with the "Use your inner eye" slogan. To answer questions on the products and provide hints on trying out the equipment, professional photographers are on hand to offer advice and support.

Carl Zeiss lens exhibition at photokina 2008
The presentation “24 Hours of Carl Zeiss” reveals to the visitor how we all come into contact with things developed by the Carl Zeiss company on a daily basis, often without even realizing it! Some major insights into lens technology are provided by an oversized, walk-in lens. This is where visitors are able to gain a genuine appreciation of just how much experience, development and precision goes into a Carl Zeiss lens.
Carl Zeiss chooses a new direction
The Camera Lenses division is particularly keen on bringing photographers closer to the experience of consciously designed, creative photography. The entire trade fair package reflects a new direction at Carl Zeiss with a focus on getting close to customers and pursuing an active dialogue with users.
