Tamron lenses at photokina : Interesting news from Tamron just in time for the Photokina. The previously announced SP AF10-24mm F/3.5-4.5 Di II LD Aspherical (IF) will become available in autumn. In addition, the fast 70-200mm F2,8 with Sony and Pentax mounts will become available as will the famous SP AF90mm F/2.8 Di 1:1 Macro with a built-in motor for Nikon. The Tamron SP AF10-24mm F/3.5-4.5 Di II LD Aspherical (IF) which was announced at the beginning of the year will be available at dealers from autumn. This high performance lens, designed for the exclusive use with digital SLRs with APS-C size sensors covers the ultra wide-angle range.

Tamron SP AF 10-24mm F/3.5-4.5 Di II LD Aspherical (IF) lens
The Tamron 10-24mm is the improved and technically advanced successor of the renowned Tamron 11-18mm F/4.5-5.6 offering a higher performance and superior specifications. The Aperture was improved from F/4.5-5.6 to F3.5-4.5 whilst maintaining the same filter diameter of 77mm. Its compactness and lightness make it very user-friendly. The lens will become available with a Nikon mount for the time being, other mounts will follow.

Tamron SP AF 70-200mm F/2,8 Di (IF) MACRO lens
The exceptional SP AF 70-200mm F/2,8 Di (IF) MACRO complements and extends the successful concept of the Tamron 28-75mm F/2,8 to include the tele range of up to 200mm. As with the award-winning 28-75mm special attention is paid to top quality combined with a fast aperture and compactness. Despite its compact dimensions, the 70-200mm is packed full of features, allowing stress-free photography in all situations: a MFD of only 0,95m throughout the entire zoom range, a maximum magnification ration of 1:3,1 and a highly effective internal focusing system. The Sony and Pentax mounts of the award-winning 70-200mm F/2,8 will become available at Photokina. Both mounts have an AF/MF switch-over mechanism on the focus ring.
