Football posters printed with Xerox digital press

Ralf Jurrien : 2007-06-15 12:46:00
Football posters printed with Xerox digital press : When the Boise State University Broncos arrived back on campus the day after their football season ended with the Fiesta Bowl victory, 10,000 color posters were ready for distribution at a gala celebration. Created on the Xerox Corporation iGen3 110 Digital Production Press, the posters featured a montage of the final plays that sealed their 43-42 overtime bowl victory. Such fast turnaround time is one of the reasons Boise State University’s Printing and Graphic Services Department purchased the flagship Xerox iGen3 digital press. It is being used to expand print services and produce jobs such as personalized direct mail campaigns and even cost-effective football trading cards.

University of California makes Xerox printer deal : Under a five-year, multimillion-dollar agreement with the University of California, Xerox Corporation’s broad portfolio of office products and solutions is now available to the university’s 10 statewide campuses, five medical centers and three national laboratories. The University of California put its printing requirements out to bid in three separate Request For Proposals within the past two years: black-and-white digital copiers, printers and faxes, and office color copiers. Multiple suppliers have been awarded contracts for each product category. Xerox was the only company selected as a preferred document management supplier for all three categories.
