HP Touch up

Ilse Jurriën : 2007-06-25 17:18:00
HP Touch up : HP explains about its new Touch Up technology; For many years (since the start of photography!), professional photographers have ‘touched up’ photographs. Sometimes called ‘airbrushing’, the purpose of touching up a photograph is to subtly enhance a photo by removing a slight blemish that appears in the photo. Often the appearance of a blemish is emphasized in the photograph due to lighting, and distracts or detracts from the subject. The same blemish may be unnoticed in person, but is obvious in a photograph. Also - sometimes a temporary blemish appears at just the wrong time, perhaps at a special event, and touching up the photograph allows the photographer to restore the appearance of the subject.

Photographic paper : With so much attention currently being directed at the progress of digital media, it is easy to assume that not much is happening on the traditional photographic paper front. Traditional may be the term used to describe silver halide photographic paper, but that should not infer lack of development - at least, not as far as black-and-white paper manufactured by Ilford Photo is concerned. For many years, Ilford Photo has offered a full range of silver halide black-and-white papers on both fibre and RC bases. These include graded and variable contrast papers available in cool, neutral or warm tone varieties with a choice of surfaces, all in a wide range of sheet and roll sizes to suit every need.
