Sony CyberShot S730

Mark Peters : 2007-12-27 11:20:00
Sony CyberShot S730 digital camera : Sony intros the new Cyber-Shot S730 compact digital camera. Light, compact and beautifully easy to use, the new Sony CyberShot S730 presents a great-value entry point to the world of digital photography. While it’s remarkably affordable, the Sony Cybershot S730 doesn’t compromise on imaging quality. There’s a Sony 3x optical zoom lens to bring distant objects closer, while digital photos captured with the 7.2 effective megapixel sensor look crisp with superb detail - even blown right up to A3 size. The Sony S730 is equipped with a 2.4-inch LCD screen with wide viewing angle. The Sony Cybershot DSC-S730 compact digital camera will be available throughout Europe from mid January 2008.

Sony A700 review

Dennis Hissink : 2007-11-06 19:30:00
Sony A700 review : Finally Sony are making good their promise to bring a real Alpha system on the market that not only appeals to the amateur but the semi-pro and even the professional photographer alike with the introduction of the Sony Alpha 700. I do not wish to claim the Sony A700 to be the ultimate tool for professionals. These photographers most possibly use a DSLR of the same brand they already own as a second camera. However; a start has been made. Many people were eagerly awaiting the Sony DSLR-A700. During the presentation of the Sony Alpha A700 in Italy, I was able to work briefly with Sony's new addition. Thereafter Sony gave us the opportunity to make an in-depth review about the Sony A700, read our experiences with this DSLR camera in the following review.

Sony Blu-ray Disc

Ralf Jurrien : 2007-09-19 18:07:00
Sony Blu-ray Disc : Sony has created a special range of Blu-ray Disc products to give people access to the new HD world in whatever form they want. The options range from Blu-ray Disc Players capable of outstanding HD audio-visual performance to notebook PCs powerful enough to edit and burn HD video content to Blu-ray Disc as well as serve as players in their own right. As High Definition becomes the new standard for video, Blu-ray Disc is increasingly visible as the natural medium for storing super-size HD content. From Hollywood movies to personal HD video captured on an HD Handycam, Blu-ray Disc will hold it all. “We are watching the future take shape,” says Hiro Shinohara, Director of Home Video Europe at Sony Europe.
