SanDisk at PMA 2007 : It seemed somewhat unusual to find out that SanDisk did not use the PMA 2007 for massive introduction of new or upgraded products. Only small announcements were made, like the introduction of the SanDisk 8GB Ultra II SDHC memory card and an enhancement of the Extreme III assortment, but that was all. The flash memory market is going through incredibly vigorous times. Prices have been dropping as they never have before and even the smallest providers went along in this flow; more or less forced by the competition. Most providers know they can't keep up for long. SanDisk announced even before the PMA in Las Vegas started that they will take their precautions to be able to get along.
